Thank you Marilyn. Yes, I agree on the coffee bar being totally white will stand out too....but another video is set to upload in two weeks that has kinda changed my mind, but I'm still undecided....so we'll see. Thanks so much my friend for your comment. Blessings to you.

I LOVE your videos regarding peel and stick options! Thank you - I think you should do all the cabinets black. However, if you do the coffee bar white, you may find that brightens your kitchen. Please film another follow up video and let us know. Also, you mentioned that you are switching out the backsplash. What will you replace it with? Last question - have you found any peel and stick contact paper or wallpaper that is inexpensive to cover very large areas/rooms/walls?
Just Us....thank you so much. I love the diversity of using peel and stick contact paper. I think I will go with doing all of the cabinets BLACK, ACCEPT the coffee Area. I like your suggestion of it keeping the area white....AND the black upper cabinets above the microwave and oven would be better BLACK because of the exposure to heat and grease over spray. It's more manageable. I will do a follow up when it's completed. As far as the backsplash I'm using a combination of Peel and Stick SOLID white contact paper and 3x6 beveled edge mirrors in place of the Walmart Brand Marble peel and stick contact paper. For covering larger areas that's inexpensive, I haven't used anything other than the Duck Brand sold at Walmart. I have covered my sister's shower and sealed it with Polyurethane. Hi Elle. I have no issues at all..and because I purchase the kind that is water proof the wipe down is a breeze. I plan to finish covering the top cabinets this year. Thanks for your viewing support my friend. Blessings
They are still holding up VERY Well. I'm able to wipe off spills resulting from liquid that it comes in contact with. I live alone, so I don't have issues with scratches or tears of any kind. Just an FYI: I spray painted the cabinet doors and drawers with flat black paint...the contact paper is only applied to the cabinet "boxes and trim".
Hello, it can damage depending on the type contact paper. My cabinets have stain, so when I attempted to remove it from my Island, it began pulling the varnish off. If you purchase peel and stick contact paper, make sure it's REMOVABLE and REPOSITIONAL (meaning it can be pulled up without destroying the paint). I hope this helped. I appreciate you watching. Blessings
How did you do the paneled cabinets and do they give you a problem after time?... edit i think i found my answer on your panelled matte black door. Would you still say the best option is to cut piece by piece instead of the one piece and try to blow-dry it to place.
I actually spray painted the drawers and doors with a flat matte black paint and used the peel and stick contact paper on the boxes.
