is 15% Critical damage the same as 15% pain damage boost or the same as 15% when max HP?

Nope, it’s similar to a 15% in battle critical damage buff. So it becomes a smaller boost if you got someone like say claude es buffing your crit damage in battle.

might need someone to verify, but i think i recall pain always being multiplicative, everything else was additive (hence diminishing returns),
but crit damage was one the few additive stat that didnt cap at a 100% dmg boost
(normal attack boost also didnt seem to cap at 100% when i was playing around with cyan scyther),
making it pain>crit dmg>other dmg boosts

@@Cykk0 equipment additive is different from crit damage additive.
As in you can get more crit damage in battle but you can’t get more equipment additive in battle. Neither crit damage nor equipment additive has any know cap.
You are thinking of in battle buffs that have cap like pwr/int etc, which doesn’t apply to critical damage. But in battle buffs are separate to equipment additives except for crit damage
