I just got my permit!! IM EXCITED LOL!!! Iv been a Underground Coal Miner for over 12 years and we are currently on strike in Alabama due to a company who cares nothing about us as miners. After working 2200 feet underground theres not much that I'm scared of so....lol. I'm completely burned out with that terrible company.Truck driving is definitely my next career goal. I'm leaning towards Prime for sure. Id love more information on the actual Prime cdl schools and what they offer to pay for while in school. Be safe and I'm so happy for you!!
You are well prepared. You would be amazed if you saw my truck. No tools, office supplies. Not even a detention stamp. They still pay me though. Thanks for keeping it 💯
Lmaoo I can’t do this without my organization. It keeps me sane. I have a friend who doesn’t have a detention stamp and gets paid too. I was like they suckered us! Saying it was mandatory lol
@@kittythatrucker3369 you don't always need that det stamp. They will still pay you without. Sometimes. But there are times when they don't pay det unless the det stamp is on the paperwork and filled out. then what? It's just good to have it if u need it. I've had plenty of loads with the det not paid bc I didn't use the stamp. Just have to rescan the paperwork.
Very nice video tour. I've had my 2020 for about 8 months now, and something that really helped was putting a high quality LED strip light underneath the top bunk. I use 2 sets of LIFX brand ones, and it really helps with filling in the sleeper with light. You can not only change colors with your phone via bluetooth, you can also change from a warm white to a cool white and everything in between. Just an idea for the future :)
I have them already ! I just haven’t put them up yet. I don’t know why I’m stalking but I can’t wait they are soooo dope! By the time I do the next tour with the colors I want they will be up
HELLO...NEW TO UR CHANNEL...I SEE U HAVENT POSTED IN A MIN.... I HOPE ALL IS WELL...R U STILL TRUCKING WITH PRIME...REALLY ENJOY UR VIDEOS...HOPE 2 HEAR MORE FROM U SOON....
Some advice to new truckers... Not having a CB is a rookie mistake. They still come in handy from time to time, yes, even in this day and age, especially when you GPS, I phone/pad, or lap top fail you, like when you get no reception. Yes, it happens. In many cases, CB Radios actually work better then any app you could ever find, such as real time local weather, road conditions, black ice, construction zones, road closures, speed traps, accident up ahead, traffic jam coming up, is that scale open, local directions, you need someone to talk to on a long drive, get a warning that something is going on with your rig that you may not be aware of. How is another driver going to call you and tell you your trailer is on fire when they don't have your number? Also, some customers (shippers and receivers) still use them to contact the drivers on which dock door to back into as well. A few things to remember... Always keep it in your rig, Make sure it is functional and properly tuned (there are plenty of videos on TH-cam to show you how to do this). You do not need to have an expensive unit either, unless you plan on using it all the time. All you need is the radio, a mic, at least one antenna, coax antenna cable, a power cord and a power source. You also don't need to keep it on all the time. There are a LOT of (legitimate) complaints of what you hear over the CB, which is why so many truckers don't "Keep Their Ears On" anymore. It is completely normal nowadays to only use it when you need it, but it you should always keep it available to you. Think of it as an insurance policy, there when you need it. It MIGHT just SAVE your LIFE someday. I suggest to all new truckers getting one as soon as you can afford one. Expensive ones are not necessarily the best ones either. There are plenty of perfectly good radios you can get for around $100.00, give or take. I am not going to endorse any CB brand names here, since they are just like truck brands or trucking companies.. how good they are depends on who you are talking to...
Great video tour, gives me a good idea of what to expect living in the truck. Btw i totally 100% understand about the portable toilet with the bag. I learned that raw lesson from good old Trucker Brown years ago on his "sleeping at the shipper" videos 🤣.
Faceless Misery when you first get out here you don’t really see the need for it but after a while it’s like nope I need SOMETHING. A bathroom isn’t always accessible especially right now.
👌🏿👌🏿 great job kitty... so organized. I'd move the paper log at arm reach while u are sitting on the driver seat,so u can easily getta it. U can keep it in your permit book in the driver door. I heard story if u get pull over and they asked u for it , you gotta be able to give it to the officer without leaving your seat .....

I've been driving 20yrs. It took me a long time to get this organized. She's on point. This is the life of a trucker. Now my tractor is just as comfortable as my home.
Yep learn the hard way. I locked myself out of the truck when I was at crete. Called the tow company and she told me $100. The guy shows up and gets the door open in two minutes and charges me $190. I wasn't happy about that but needed the door unlocked. That was years ago now I never lock the door without a key in my hand.
You can also get a magnetic hideaway key So you can hide it out side somewhere so you dont get locked out. It happened to a driver this past winter he was pissed he cut one of his antenna's off and used that to push the door unlock after prying the top of the door lol
Man you are definitely prepared I love it!! ❤❤ definitely gave me some ideas for when i go back over the road... been driving for 5 years 2 over the road the last 3 local in st Louis
I thought I saw a pull cord for the air horn...that's nice... The pro Stars I've driven had the air horn on the steering wheel... Didn't care for that.........I can't wait to see your interior when you get it green/lime and blue...love the video
Not sure if you have the same issue as I with my freightliner. Keeping certain food above the second bunk height it gets hot up about that level. So hot that the food can spoil early/slightly cooks whatever is up there. I keep dry food up in that cabinet. My canned food goes under the bunk. I have noticed the food discoloring which made me investigate the issue and found that. Just an FYI
Dats right get u a lime green and blue seahawk Jersey put it over ur passenger seat I'm from Mississippi but live in Washington it will go with kolors drive safe check out my page drive safe be safe sista out hea ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿🖤🖤🖤🖤

You know what Good catch I didn’t think of that. I just make sure the Qualcomm can be handed out the window. It’s already moved. Thanks!
Where you at?
You got me really to start driving
Wow I never imagined that a truck would have so much space for a little kitchen area, a closet and bed. This is cool!
Fariyal Bhatti yes it’s nothing like most people think it is out here. The truck is quite comfy! Everything I need is right here
How do you like the international
