    I use it without any problems, and that’s amazing for my sensitive skin. I can’t say that I noticed an improvement in my skin from it, but I haven’t been using it for very long. I know Vanicream isn’t cruelty free, and that bothers me. The way I justify using the products is that I can’t find a cruelty-free product that my skin can tolerate. It’s kind of like buying a prescription cream for me. Those are all tested on animals.

    Can I just use this as a moisturizer and then apply sunscreen? I feel like the ceramides would be enough to not need the moisturizer because I’m also applying sunscreen all day

    I’m interested in this product because of the price point! I hate that so many vitamin C serums now cost $80-$110 per ounce, seems so unnecessary. But the THD concentration of this product is only 5%, and I’ve been using 15%. This may be a stupid question with an obvious answer but I still want to ask: does downgrading the concentration mean that the product won’t be as effective, or effective at all? Once you’re at a certain concentration do you have to stay there to continue seeing results?

    That is a very interesting cruelty free statement. I appreciate you sharing the nuance with us. I guess I appreciate their honesty! But yeah not sure I can say that is cruelty free. Surprised Vanicream came out with a Vit C. I’m sure it was just to make money, but unexpected to me. I think of them just as very gentle, no worries about irritation and VIT C is a tough one for my skin bi love their line and their antiperspirant is my go to after 50 years of trying about every deodorant on the planet and then all irritating my pits. Not sure I dare to try this. But if I did want a real VIT C I would probably start with their brands VIT C out of caution

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      When you're cruelty free statement is three paragraphs long... You probably aren't cruelty free. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Really wish they were, maybe in the future. This one is super gentle, which is nice, definitely not a must have but overall nice as a moisturizer more than anything else.

      @@NOBSBeauty You're absolutely right. I've done the internet deep dive trying to learn if various brands are cruelty-free, and if it's unclear, what else can we decide but that the answer is no, they are not?

      That's how her videos get pushed to the algorithm, tho. She accepts nothing for free. I feel like she is more than welcome to ask for a small thing like hitting the like button(which she sometimes does). You all act like it costs you money to like a video.

      I understand if your not into animals, but testing on them is a very horrifying thing to do especially that we have enough data today not to do so, maybe if you look up footage of it you will change your mind or not, it depends on your heart.

    • @WaffleRedondo

      @@nouramy4038 well, I eat meat, chicken, pork, fish, etc. I would be inconsistent if I would tell that cruelty free is something I look when buying a product rather than efficacy. I don't mind about that stuff but it's not my priority
