I think someone from overkill saw your video with testing explosive bows as a shield takedown alternative. They got "KInda buffed" Explosive arrows have 14k dmg now on english longbow compound bow and the heavy crossbow.
My guess is that marksman increases accuracy for weapons in single fire and buffs weapons that have single fire on. Essentially applying it in two different ways. Why overkill did it like this? Probably two different programs did it in there own way without communicating or there was one programer with personality disorder, who knows.
hey kevkild i have been playing religiously with the snipers in this game and i wanted to know your opinion about the bernetti rangehitter because I like it but I don't see anyone ever using it and I would like to know if it has some massive drawback that I haven't notice
From my perspective, its just the not so useful breakpoint, its not a 255 sniper and also not a 168 sniper, so it will still need the zerk to do the same as a 255 sniper, while not being as efficient as a 168 sniper, bc of less concealment, ammo pickup and rate of fire
like only frenzy setup with healing. But like, a betetr zerk means better sniper/contractor anyway. Otherwise it's not terrible, some people like it. I don't like range hitter with zerk. Crits is fun
@@vyFade I don't feel that the weapon has little ammunition pickup or problems with its concealment but yes you're right its breakpoint is what is supposed to make the weapon special but in reality it is not useful at all Even then I have become addicted to tactical reloads and this is the only viable sniper that has them XD
So essentially marksman adds 16 accuracy as long as the rifle is in single fire mode

I miss being able to use marksman buffs on verstek lmg, but they removed the single fire

Even more weapon stats shows 0 spread with 92 acc lock in single fire mode. CAN WE GET MUCH HIGHER
