@@michaelmunson6809 facts. And I believe that time will come in the future. That Sensations track of him was my all time favorite. I've been listening to it for 2 months now.
@@michaelmunson6809 that actually might happen. But I'm not really sure if people out there are really ready for this kind of art form. Just by looking at the mainstream music nowadays I have doubts if people will actually appreciate it or understand. But yes! Definitely Den can be the bridge. If only someone could be brave enough to put it into radio that would be revolutionary imo.
Den has unique textures in all his bases and they all sound like a literal beat. All of his sounds are soooo unhuman. And he has a tone of sounds. Very high skilled and perfect pitched beatboxing. This makes him great.
Would you consider participating in a BBU Loopstation Edition if Chezame and Sxin ever decide to make it? I think you would be such a strong contender in that sort of format
I have the exactly the same opinion as you BreZ! Den is disgustingly good! Changing the game with every performance. And now when I show his beats to some people who have never heard of beatbox, they like it, a lot. And this has never happened! The Great Den is here to conquer peoples hearts
I think what lifts Den above even Sho-go and D-Low in musicality is that it seems like Den builds the song by putting the song first, then builds the structure and inserts technical beats and bass where and only When they feel appropriate for the final Arrangement. Which is why his wildcard/ battle rounds don't "hit" live like everyone expects. He doesn't follow the typical intro - buildup - drop - buildup - final drop like everyone else because that's not his goal . Other beatboxers think about what special sounds they want to show and create arrangements for maximum point value by piecing together high scoring sections. Because Den creates by focusing on his music and how he wants the whole arrangement to be presented as one piece, then deciding what sounds are needed to achieve what he hears in his head, the final result feels so complete and easy to listen to for fellow beatboxers and general audience alike.
Jesus. Coming from D-Low's page to here just makes me want to cry. So much talent. So amazing. Holy balls! Nobody can say shit about these guys. The musicality is just ....wow....
Also my current favorite solo beatboxer!! His musical sense, technicality, some details into his beat, and so much more elements… He is absolutely the best with no doubt.
I totally get what you are saying about not necessarily loving to listen strictly to single beatboxers for enjoyment. Of course we respect their skill but it's not quite the same as listening to full songs from bands. I watch individual beatboxer video's all the time out of an interest in their skill and talent, but I don't have any of them on my playlist to listen to while I drive my car or have on in the background while I am working. There is only 1 beatboxer who I have actually listened to purely for enjoyment and that is Gene Shinozaki. He put up a livestream of him practicing different beats, melodies, playing instruments and beatboxing with guests and it's the only time I have ever found the enjoyment similar to listening to typical music. It's like over an hour long and I can actually just put it on to listen to while I am laying in bed or chilling. Gene is such an incredibly unique talent with his voice and the melodies he creates. I will say though, that Den has quickly risen to the top of my most watched artists, because he has a similar style where he actually creates whole melodies and underlying beats where his tracks could be worthy of being played on the radio. He's so special with his structure and patterns that he doesn't just create beats, but they start to become songs.
just so you know, hisstory actually isn’t dens final BBU round. the final has two rounds, and dens second BBU final round comes out the 15th of July, I believe
codfish and den are really out of this world with their musicality in beatboxing den is superior compared to codfish in terms of his singing and variation while codfish just has god level of stage presence honestly a battle between both of them in their best would be legendary
I've always respected and enjoyed solo beat box as one of the four pillars of Hip Hop culture but I've never been so blown away by anyone as I just was watching DEN!!!! The range the mastery of production the perfect timing just WTF WOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!
totally agree , Musicality is unreal . Huge fan of Dlow but I can't relate to his tracks compared to Den . Show-go is also very good at this style but den is the best
I think the only mistake that den made this entire competition was putting his final tracks in the order he did. Atleast everytime I’ve seen a final reaction it’s been in hisstory and then missing you as the order. Please do correct me if this is wrong. Hisstory would have hit so much harder as the final track and missing you would’ve been a good interlude between his aggressive tracks. I think putting it the way he did, took all the sting out of Hisstory. A hard driller track with killer lyrics, wordplay and hard bass drops would’ve just ended the competition as the final.
How do you feel about Stitch & Showgo? Because I think they have a lot of composition structure, musicality & vocals, which I also prefer hearing & wish happened more in solo beatboxing.
It's because we have the same name

DEN is insane. His tunes are not only for bbxers but also for some kind of regular people. That's why he is phenomenal .
said it once, will say it a million times, DEN will bridge the gap from mainstream to BBX. he'll be the first one to be played on the radio.

his mixture of beautiful vocals with dirty ass bass lines is amazing
should have reacted to his bbu wildcard as well. really underrated compared to rest of his routines
The transition with that Inertia counter was insane bro.. 11:50 or something omg
Been listening for 15 minutes and haven't heard one note or tone out of place. And he can sing.
I had the same feeling about solo beatboxing, but den changed my mind
Respect. Solo beatbox is an instrument. Music is expression. . .it's art, not simply music. Music is made with instruments. Brez is real!

Yes beatboxing is music the same way a guitar is music. You dont need 20 instruments to make a song. There are many just guitar songs
