Codfish honestly inspired me to learn lip rolls and inwards with his tone change and his beat drops. Been watching his xbox videos too since the beginning and its always been so amazing to watch his journey and his vocals just kept on getting even stronger and crazier!
Something about Stitch's wildcard just hit different. It's a prime example of "less is more". I'm not sure what it is but the overall flow of the routine fits perfectly.
This video has the smoothest transitions in all of TH-cam's History. I also missed Codfish's smooth bass. Seriously, his throat bass is the smoothest!!
Only 3 wildcards from 2021 made it here and it was Den, stitch and Gene, and they put Den above Stitch's, and in the oficial rankings he ranked #10 and didn't make it....I am very confused💀🤣

the thing with beatbox judging is that it's based on skills, and in this video it's also based on what people like to listen to so it doesn't match the competition placements
Don’t get me wrong 2023 GBB is full of talent but GBB 21 just hits different, so much structure and flow and melodic parts.. nowadays it seems like judges choose whoever can make a conglomerate of noises in their mouth and call it a “beat”

2021 was really a banger year for the beatbox. If GBB21 had been smoother then it would have been the greatest beatbox year yet.
