This is the best video explanation I ever come across. I believe there are so many students out there who find it so hard to understand grammar. But thanks to you. You made it simple enough to be understood. You are resourceful blessing indeed. God bless your heart. Looking forward for more of your videos.
1.I advised him to play cricket. 2.The letter to have been written by her has been received to me. 3.I have something to give you. In these clauses, what is the grammatical part of 'to play'/ 'to have been written' / 'to give' ? (Adj. Or noun Or adv.)
I have a question. How can I know if it modifies a noun or a verb? I am still confused with how Infinitives as a adjective and adverb, differ from each other. Thank you
Ask yourself the adverb questions: what, where, how or why… if you can answer the question with the infinitive you have your answer. Why is mom going to the store? To buy dinner.
Excellent lesson!!! I have a question: what happen if we substitute ``until'' by ``unless'' does the sentence ``We can't play until we find a ball to throw'' change ? Thanks a lot.
5:04 isn't the subject is who performs the action, which in this case was joe, irrespective of the fact that you articulate book as the sentence's subject.
I think you made a mistake in" Joe wants a book to read". A book is the object and " to read" is not an adjective. The proper sentence is" Joe wants to read a book".
What is the grammatical part of speech of 'to give' in both clauses? ( obj. complement or adv. or adj.) 1. I have something to give you. 2.I have bought something to give you.
You know, your lessons are great but why do you need the music to distract? We want to hear you speak, not listen to music. Please, take my advice and remove the music. Just imagine you are in a class and the teacher is explaining something. Do you want music in the background? All said, I really like your lessons minus the music.

I have a doubt- in 5:54 how is ball the subject?
book is not the subject, it is the direct object
This is what I was searching the whole you tube
Thanks a lot 😊😊
Thanx tr for making video nice keep it up,,👍👍👌👌👌
My pleasure 😊
to eat -present infinitive; to have eaten - past infinitive. the infinitive does change according to tense or voice.
Book, ball = subject ?? Should be direct object.
I also wondering about that! I think its an object
I agree

Excellent explanation.
5:04 isn't the subject is who performs the action, which in this case was joe, irrespective of the fact that you articulate book as the sentence's subject.
Yes book is object and act as a noun so "to read " is modifying a noun so it is adjective
Thank you teacher.
You are welcome

I think you made a mistake in" Joe wants a book to read". A book is the object and " to read" is not an adjective.
The proper sentence is" Joe wants to read a book".
Nice Vedio 👍👍
Thanks Utekar ☺️
Nice video
Thanks :)
Nice 👍👍👍👌👍👌👌👌
The video was amazing and made me understand but the music is really bothering me please don't add music on videos
"Joe wants a book to read."
- Why is it that "book" is the subject of the sentence?? You mean direct object, right? That made me confused.
Same with other example sentences.
the same note.
Is there an infinitive in the sentence "I will wait"?
Superb thanks Go ahead
Infinitives can also be a verb
