Yeah the badge somehow worked which is so crazy. As long as the badge let him in security would have no idea he is a former emplpyee and no need to be escorted.
Its crazy how comfortable this guy was at getting in and out of there. The warehouse i worked at years ago. You'd have to go through metal detectors, scan your badge twice, and sometimes get scanned by handheld detectors. All before you could even get into the area with all the shelves of products.
Reminds me of that old spy/crime movie trope where a character is able to infiltrate a secure location and do whatever they want just by "acting like they belong".
Yep and a lot of warehouses only let clear bags go through and you have to lift your pant legs on exit. I don't know how many others did this same thing.
When I worked at Amazon, not only you have to go through a metal detector, you also have to take off your belt, watch, change in your pockets, and anything that had metal. You have leave your phone in your vehicle and I worked for a temp agency!
How does he think he could just get away with that? Practically a movie is being made of him stealing all this s***. One of the worst shortcuts to get money.

Same thing happened to a coworker at a Kaiser warehouse. He was smuggling out Viagra pills. We would see him suddenly with a brand new lifted truck, flamboyant bling, frequent weekend trips. He wasn’t shy when showing the extra dough he was making. After a year, he was called to office where cops were waiting for him. He was convicted and lost all his company accrued benefits, 401K, vacation, everything.
The fact that you have to wait until you retire at the age of 60 to get your money doesnt seem like a loss if the tradeoff was worth more than you're 401k
I had a coworker that was stealing pallets (just the wooden pallet) by the semi load. There was a grey market for them, and he had worked out a deal with one of the drivers. This supposedly went on for 2 years. They finally caught him and fired him. Never charged him with anything though.
let him be , he didnt do anything wrong , what's the difference if you steal from walmart and they go out of business or amazon , he didnt hurt nobody , they decriminalized stealing so its a non issue at this point , i think he should sue amazon for harassing him and taking his picture without his consent. he didnt know he couldn't do that .
Well they need to check who he knows that is currently an employee and or manager. When you enter an Amazon warehouse you scan in and go through security. Also the vest he was wearing wasn't Amazon issued. So a lot of ppl dropped the ball at these facilities
There are a lot of vest issued at amazonm that is in fact 1 of them they also have the lime green ones. Those are for normal associates if they have pits in their building. The rest of the cooler vests go for management pa roles and security/ safety/ LP/ HR/ finance etc
That is so blatant. You KNOW cameras are watching you, a camera isn’t a person- It sees all, records all. I can’t understand how people still think they can steal while being directly filmed.

We have cameras recording the entire warehouse and people don't seem to be able to connect the dots that someone is actually watching those cameras. Though to be fair, we've had drug sales and prostitution that went on for years before someone noticed.
I guarantee u they knew but there's nothing about prostitution and drug sales specifically forbidden on the company grounds in the employee handbook. 😂😂😂
How he even managed to get through blows my mind. I used to work at an Amazon FC here in GA last summer, and on my last day, my badge was taken and I was walked out past the second security point. I don't know if it depends on the type of Amazon distribution center or something, but where I worked they were pretty big on security with employees - I almost couldn't work one time cause I had left my badge at home (even though we clocked in through an app).
Also your badge should not work at other facilities. It also expires as a contractor who works on these buildings. it makes me think that he had someone on the inside

I used to work in an Amazon distribution center when I studied semesters abroad in Germany. We were monitored by cameras and watchmen at all times, and would have our bags searched in a security checkpoint when we clocked out. Not a chance to steal a pack of batteries.
@Karl with a K He's giving an example that a thief wouldn't be able to even steal something as small as a pack of batteries. You like to falsely accuse people of evil doing. It's truly a reflection of your guilty criminal ways.
Nope. Prolly goes to a fence for 30-40 cents on the dollar. I knew a guy that worked a Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart shoplifting gig. A crew would steal small electronics and loads of small highend expensive tools and building materials. Then another crew would go around several stores and return the items with hassel free no receipt unopened merchandise refunds via store gift cards that in turn are sold to the Russian mafias for between 40-60 cents on the dollar. They then are distributed to illegal unregistered tradesmen (Russian and eastern European drywallers and painters.) to help pay for tools and materials and assist them in cut-throat under-bidding for construction contracts. They made a killing. If you needed something in their 'realm' of diverse product procurement, you simply advise them and they'd pick you up one and sell it for 1/2 retail. or better. Those $24 Gillet fusion refill blades were like gold. once they broke open the cheesy locked cases. 20-30 pks fit in the sleeve of theri coats, leaving enough room for a nice $80 Braun razor/beard trimmer. Sells for about $25. 10 bucks a pack for the blades gives you $200 -300 easy for what amounted to10 mins. 'work'.

They've learned well from the Post Office (USPS). A package was scanned in Atlanta as arriving then hours later scanned as "Out For Delivery", a 30 mile run to the address. It disappeared with the USPS ignoring the obvious -- it's either in the distribution Center in Atlanta, stolen by the scanning employee, or the driver. My package didn't go poof into thin air. the amout of losses thats gonna get write-off is worth way more, he is just a small pawn. it aint going to be 100k, more like 10 or 100 times of it since all theft were caught, they can write-off all the stolen to like 200k each branch some more and some less, look at who is winning
In this case, this is a win-win scenario. Amazon can write off the stolen goods while people like him em up in prison rather than on the streets. Smart for companies to let people rack up charges so they can be hit with larger sentences.

Remember people it's not about if you get caught, it's just about the matter of when you get caught. Today's world there is no hiding. You cannot commit crimes anymore and expect to get away with it. Especially if you are a repeating offender. Make good choices and life will be good for you. Sometimes it's going to be extremely difficult, sad or simply miserable. You might think it's only you.. we all suffer from something. You will be alright believe me just keep faith and ask God for help. Your life can turn around completely if you give it a hard go.
If you needed something in their 'realm' of diverse product procurement, you simply advise them and they'd pick you up one and sell it for 1/2 retail. or better.

the amout of losses thats gonna get write-off is worth way more, he is just a small pawn. it aint going to be 100k, more like 10 or 100 times of it since all theft were caught, they can write-off all the stolen to like 200k each branch some more and some less, look at who is winning
In this case, this is a win-win scenario. Amazon can write off the stolen goods while people like him em up in prison rather than on the streets. Smart for companies to let people rack up charges so they can be hit with larger sentences.
Loss of integrity and trust like this is what caused many society to fall apart.
How are you supposed to live in a community comfortably if you can't trust that your neighbour, your delivery driver, your mailman, etc. will engage in crap like this?
No trust no business
We can't trust politics either....but it runs the world.
It is indeed sad!
Is this your first day on planet Earth or something?
Just smoke some legal weed and stop worrying so much bruh. Society jus gonna do what it be doin and don’t act like you wouldna put dat IPhone up in ur pocket and stroll huh uh uh
And he would of gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those meddling kids!
What’s sad is they don’t want to hire the actual people that want to work and are good but would rather hire thieves….
So true. They try and portray the workers and quality employee's as the thieves.
gots to make up the numbas or else.....
The Shykanmalahs and Mykessist and Reconseans ALWAYS GET THE JOB🤣🤣🤨
What do you mean? Ive heard Amazon will hire anybody.
While the scene of this guy stealing merchandise, the security team had the opportunity to arrest him right then and there. Why did it not happen? His employee badge and dozens of cameras (hundreds?) are in place for this reason. Aren’t they?
Appears that security personnel should be doing what they’re paid to do.
It appears they just sit on there butts and makes bets among one another or perhaps they too are accomplices.
Either way this shouldn’t be so easy.
Must not know how amazon works. They want to build a case against you so continue to let it happen. As for security I don't think they're in charge of this as much as loss pervention. Not sure what security does. They dont even stop thefts in the parking lot.
They let him keep going so they can prosecute him to the max.
Seems like someone was using their badge to let him into the warehouse. Also when Amazon investigates employee theft, they will let it occur more than once, to build up a case and also sweep up known accomplices.
Probably they wanted to build a case so they just watched and recorded. He got more than a petty thief charge this fool got a grand thief case
@@ebony1473 at $100K+.
I think that’s well above a petty theft charge.
I remembered I was told that IB_ warehouse here in Canada had a thief years ago.
A guy casually walked in to one of their warehouses loading dock and took more than 20 boxes of laptops without being stopped by anyone. There must be an insider feeding info to an outsider to committed the crime.
It was all caught on security cameras.
Hi! I'm also Canadian (Ottawa). Sorry for the comment; I usually don't see other Canadians online. 🇨🇦
Shocker
He doesn’t look too smart to me, he didn’t notice the security cameras all around the outside of the building?
Walmart in my town nearly closed up because the whole electronics department and people working the deliveries coming in were all in on stealing tv"s , gaming systems , games and swapping out damaged merchandise for new merchandise . They were repackaging the merchandise so good that you couldn't tell it had been opened.
You’re missing the point, he didn’t even work there. He was just walking in talking to people and would steal and go
He really rolled out the entire cart with the bins and put it in a car smh he thought he was being slick but there’s a camera recording him and he worked for them previously people are so crazy
Now he is going to be sitting in a tiny cell with a toilet and cot for how many years?
@the1trueblack God
Yeah we may be sitting in a cell, but it's your hard earned tax money that's paying for my food and room....... and yes I had my own cell the whole time i was locked up and never paid a dime for it. Oh and i forgot free healthcare, although i never needed it in there.
@@Martin199320. So, are you bragging about your stint? I'm glad my "hard earned tax money" is going toward a worthwhile cause....keeping your kind behind bars.
@the1trueblack God
no im def not bragging about anything, but im satisfied that i didn't have to pay a cent for my shelter and food without working at all while i was locked up, although i did do cleaning jobs in there, but that was by choice and i got paid for it......
but quick question, can you describe "your kind" to me, please?
@the1trueblack god
and unfortunately your tax money couldn't "keep" me behind bars forever, cus as you can see i am out n free. I am working though, but not sure how long id wanna stay living like this. Not use to paying so high in rent, food not really an issue for me though. 😉
They got cameras while your taking a dump what do you expect
