    The miracle of the Qur’an is the miracle of the life of prophet Muhammad صل الله عليه وسلم. Those who reflect will realise that Allah has power over all things.

    Mashallah this was so intriguing. I could listen to sheikh Yasir even for another hour. I wish if he turns these into weekly historical khatiras. Also the storyline of how the Persian empire fell reminded of the historicals dramas I've seen although not the Persian ones. I needed to hear this because I'm going through something and my situation makes zero sense to me. Allah is operating in the background. Hes infinitely wise.

    People downplay the maqam of Rasool Allah (saw). Allah azza wa jal tore an entire empire to shreds because its leader showed arrogance to His beloved.
    Meanwhile, Abyssinia, the land of Najashi (r.a) remains to this day as a land and people respected, unharmed and honored by the Muslims. All because their leader protected the precious first companions of our beloved Rasool Allah.

I don't need to see YQ's 30, 40 seconds videos taken out of context from a whole lecture as had been done in the past.
      What I do know however, that lecture upon lecture, sermon upon sermon, talks upon talks, Yasir Qadhi quoted from Quran directly and when he talked about it, it wasn't as if was quoting someone who said it as a third person.

    Well, if Allah destroyed the Persian Empire, so did he destroy the Muslim rule in Spain, so did he destroy the Islamic Caliphate, so did he make Iraq and Afghanistan loose against the Americans. The modern Khusrow still lives in another form as the Ayatollah. The Iranians and Arabs are still at loggerheads with each other. The Persians are still the Titans of the middle east as opposed to the Arabs. Ultimately all empires die and they all have a story behind their destruction. Nothing unusual about your story.

    The arrogance of the Sassanid Kisra not only caused the end of Persian Empire, but also the Persian culture in history. First, the Arabs conquered Iran and ruled Persia several centuries, and then the Turks founded their dynasties there, starting from the Seljuqs to the Safavids, Avshars and Qajars. Even today, Iranians have this vanity that they assume their superiority over the Arabs and the Turks as they humiliate both as labeling shepherds of the desert and the steppe. But in reality, both Arabs and Turks have received the prize and praise since they are more loyal to the teachings of Quran and Sunnah than the Iranians. Even after the Islamic conquest, Iranians never accepted and comprehended the essence of Islam because they regarded this religion as not of Allah's order, but of Arabs' cultural and political influence in Persia. Hence, they preferred their own interpretation of Islam as they spread Shism since the middle ages. Both the Seljuks and Ottomans waged war against this Iranian sect, which they considered as heretic and irreligious. So the rift since then have increased between the Turkish-Arab led Sunni world and Shia Iran.
    In brief, the Holy Quran has already indicated the end of Persian Empire in the Surah al-Rum, an ending that not only politically occurred, but also cultural and sociological disappearing of Persia was unavoidable. That's why today's Iranians prefer to highlight their pre-Islamic faiths and thoughts like Zoraastranism, Mazdakism and Maniheism in order to recussicate their historical culture and identies over Islam since the early Pahlavi Dynasty. So to speak, Islam and Iran will never compromise and reconcile in the future as they never did since the times of the Prophet (pbuh) and the Caliph Umar (r.a.)
    Cheers from Turkey,

      Irans current regime is operating on borrowed time. Iranians have been leaving Islam in record numbers. They have been embracing their origins and speaking with removed arabic words for to revive their language to a more pure form. The fact is that Iran will become a more western country in the future. I never would have thought, but it’s looking inevitable. Life is strange.

    • @M.Moadeli123
      @M.Moadeli123 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Iranians like to preserve their culture. It's not an act of dismissal of religion. The Islam that's enforced upon them is barbaric and they're rebelling against it much like how kids with tyrannical parents do a runner then make a u turn further down the line. The regime needs to go so people can stop rebelling by the nature of being forced against their will. Faith has to come from self not be forced upon someone. No matter how modern Iran gets, the culture is entertained with humanity and Islam. After all, Iran put humanity onto the map and was the country to commence the human rights movement. Even the zoroastruan religion prior to Islamised Iran, taught of humanity and nobleness. It won't vanish. It's ingrained in our nature to do good. Now as far as Iman, they need to stop forcing their people and let them choose for themselves and find faith by their own will.

    In short, the civil war in Iran weakened the army, and after that the Arabs abused and massacred the country. If I am not mistaken, Khosrow was the one who built the first university in Iran. It was also for the reason that he asked the Shah of Iran to obey him.
