+Daniel Blaze he didnt kill himself as far as I can tell. Dark Samus manipulated him to stab himself with his own ice spikes to than absorb his body into her own.
It's possible Rundas was not fully corrupted during the fight and Samus briefly managed to uncorrupt Rundas at the end of the fight, which is when Dark Samus intervened and manipulated Rundas into killing himself. I read a theory about it once and there's a lot of evidence to back it up, but it basically just states that Rundas was almost saved.

Ridley can regenerate his body if he eats flesh according to the canon manga, and we see through the Prime games and Samus Returns how he sheds his mechanical parts as he grows back his own. That being said, he did canonically dies in Super Metroid. He's cloned and killed in Other M, and his clone's corpse is replicated by the X Parasites as Neo Ridley in Fusion, before it's killed as well.

Yeah I played the Cube Prime games and might someday play Corruption. I gotta say that despite the weird all over the place color palette I wanna play it more after watching this video and she's a factor in that.

its considered by many to be the easiest of the Prime series. But as far as "too easy", well there's a difficulty setting you can access once you've beaten the game once, so you can increase the difficulty if the first time was too easy for ya.
