Hi, I have one of these (came with win10 pro) and installed Linux Mint xfce on it. The touchscreen doesn't work, will I be able to fix it with any of these drivers? Would I be better off just reinstalling Win10 and using virtual machine? Thanks for the video :)
I have never tested this on that flavour of Linux so I'd suggest using a VM on it as Linux mint is pretty lightweight.... Let me know if this works for you, if not I'll get round to featuring it on my channel at somewhen
thanks for the info. i bought the 106 version. i downloaded rufus and made a kubuntu 23.04 stick and it installed and ran perfectly. (i didn't try touch screen because I'm over grotty android screens ) then i made a fatal error . in the bios there is an OS selection option. i changed it from windows to linux and now the internal screen is disabled if i boot blindly and then plug in hdmi i still have a running linux system but i can't see the bios screen at bootup so i can't reset the settings. anyone know how to do a reset on one of these please ?
thanks. been looking for a way to do a complete system reset. the battery connector looks to be soldered and glued otherwise i could pull it out and see what happens. there are 6 pads on the board that say bios, probably for programming it. haven't been able to find a magic keyboard combination to do a reset. there is very little information online that i can find
