This is why schools need to supply their caretakers with the equipment necessary to do jobs like this on a regular basis so the problem doesn't end up being this bad again.
My two favorite things....playground, and helping the community. I can only imagine that along with all the dirt, moss, and grime you removed, you probably did away with a good bit of germs as well. Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well th-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.
This has to be my favorite video yet, I wish we could see the kids reaction to how clean their play area turned out. Watching those colorful footprints popping out from under all that yuck was so satisfying. I think it's wonderful that you do what you do to make your world a better place.

Excellent work! It does blow my mind that buildings and parks owned by the council cost SO MUCH to build but that then absolutely no maintenance is involved after building completion! Surely the Council would want to build less but protect and maintain their assets?! I'm so glad that the local PTA had the forethought and budget to take matters into their own hands. Thank you for all you do xx

That was a very generous thing to do. The playground went from a dull, depressing place to a cheerful, inviting space. Bright and much cleaner, too. Cute kids.

That’s what good Dads are for so make the most of it. Take notes do you can do the same for your boys in due course! Those play grounds are terrible to clean,but when you are ready they shine. I've once seen a reaction of children entering a clean playground and one of them sad" I asked Santa to clean our schoolyard and he did it! Now I'm so Happy". Wow, I didn't even notice the footprints when you were cutting in, Ben, because there was so much grime. Another job done brilliantly! One thing that always strikes me is that we forget that grime = muck = dirt = actual soil, dust, STUFF! It's only when you're scooping up the sludge, moss and mud that I remember that it's not just dirty discolouration, but literal stuff.... As for the 'important part', the family outro, you definitely got that right! You know what your priorities are, and boy do you ever show it. Gosh, that's a humongous difference, Ben! I originally thought the footprints and splotchy patterns, etc were worn off and faded to grey. Then when you started to wash, I could see the colors coming up only to disappear! I wasn't sure if the color came back up then the surface cleaner scrubbed it all off or if it was just being covered by the dirty water. When you rinsed, it was like the sun coming out and all the colors appeared, bright and cheery! 🎉🎉 Now it's a playground that LOOKS like fun! Well done, Ben! And good job by your Dad on the sludge clean up. And on keeping you in your toes and inspecting your work! 😂 Beautiful family outro - always so heartwarming to see your beautiful family and how much you all enjoy spending your time together. ❤ Have a wonderful weekend!

Fantastic, seeing the brilliant black of the asphalt come out and the coloured bits looking bright and new 🎉. It must be safer and less slippery now too. Sweet scenes of the boys, makes us feel like part of the family, even though we may be an ocean away. Would have given two thumbs up if I could❤.

Interesting how just doing the edge and fence is brightening the area. We forget, in the decline of color and advance of grime, just how much we lose in appearance. 3:39 At 6:23, what a change in colors and a Grime Line. 9:23, it did look like you were moving a massive amount of sludge, and there it is. You are clearing it out. That was nice your Dad was interested and helping out. Wow, your Before and After pictures show a HUGE change. Good to see you encouraging the kids to try a variety of things.

Wow The different colour feet stands out beautifully. Its amazing what water and pressure can do together. It also helps if you know what you are doing...lol. We forget, in the decline of color and advance of grime, just how much we lose in appearance. 3:39 At 6:23, what a change in colors and a Grime Line. 9:23, it did look like you were moving a massive amount of sludge, and there it is.
