- In revelation 3 we read the letter to the church of Laodicea. They receive a shocking rebuke from Jesus. These prophetic words came to John on the island of Patmos during the time of his exile. Many would compare the church of America to the church of Laodicea. They were very wealthy and prosperous, and were lulled into a false sense of security and likely even believed and followed false doctrines which earned them this rebuke. May we as believers in the church of the west not find ourselves receiving this same rebuke from Jesus when he returns. Jesus is coming soon. We are in the end-times.

Per my understanding, that Bible verse is more strongly worded than the commonly translated "spit." It really means to vomit up with force; thus, Jesus' warning seems to be a lot more vehement than for which we tend to give it credit.

"Put on Christ" and "Put on the full armor of God" I have come to believe these are exactly the same. After Christ delivered me out from a generational Masonic family, the very first thing I needed to learn was Eph. 6. I had to learn how to fight in the spirit. I've learned that the Bible contains a full on spiritual warfare manual.
What was important in lighter times has become essential in these darker times. We must armor up, we must keep looking up for our....everything. Because without Him, we're just dust.

I agree partly. The “Lord Lord” verse found in Matthew 7 kind of displays people who think works save them. They obviously believe because they’re calling him “Lord” but they think their acts or good works are taking them to heaven as they list out the good works they did for Him.
It is Faith Alone in Jesus Finished work on the cross that gets you to heaven.
It is not works so no man can boast. BUT true believers will do good works.
Those who simply claim they’re believers but haven’t done a good work is just evident that they’re not true believers.

There are doctrines that take it to both extremes. “Just say you believe and do nothing,” and “do all of the things to earn your salvation” and hope it was enough.

So many people seeking the Truth and Salvation wrong way! To save souls until the end of the world, Our Lord instituted His Only Church, His Only Fold (John 10:16), on the Apostles (Matt 16:18-19, Rev 21:14), and sent them to teach to OBSERVE ALL HE COMMANDED (Matt 28:20), saying, "Whoever believes your teaching and baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16)." Our Lord also said, "Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me and rejects the One Who sent Me (Luke 10:16)." The Truth and Salvation are found only in His One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church, which is the Household of God and the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Tim 3:15). Our Lord's saves Only the sheep in His Only Fold, the faithful members of His Church, which is His Body and Bride (Eph 5:23). Why seek salvation elsewhere? Come quickly to His Fold before it is too late (for the Antichrist's satanic rule is imminent now), so that you may hear His Voice, tryly know and follow Him, and be saved by Him (John 10:27-28). Amen!

What's wrong with doing spiritual maintenance? Spotting and checking ones self for demonic fleas and ticks.
I want to know the truth about God and the bible so I read it to get to know him and I watch your videos and other Christian videos for that reason, but with so many denominations and so many different interpretations of the bible I am confused. I want to know the truth and I want to know God, I believe true faith is believing and following God and Jesus an living in the spirit and you will do works naturally not because you believe you are saved by them but because that's what God calls you to do and it's something you'll want to do for him. I hope im right im still learning and my perspective on things is of course flawed since I'm human but I just really dont want to go to hell and I really want to genuinely know and persue God. Denying yourself and taking up the cross too of course though I find it hard to let go of certain things even though I know I need to, anyways God bless you and thank you for another video!

Jesus was not speaking to this city nor even an analogy of it. My my He was speaking directly to the Church there in Laodicea and any common sense person can see what He was saying here. It was very clear that He was telling them of their spiritual condition and I don’t believe it had anything to do with conditions of water there in that city. That’s really crazy to think that. Concerning “once saved always saved” Paul himself said if he didn’t die daily he could be a CASTAWAY!!! Jesus was speaking to the Apostate Church of today (Laodicean Church Age) and it is a true description of it. It’s sad. I know about 50 Scriptures proving you can backslide to the point you will be lost and those who are Born Again but yet being so worldly they make Jesus sick and He will spew them out at the Rapture out of His Body and they will be left here. Our actions have nothing to do with our salvation, they are merely the proof that we are saved. Proof of our justification. NOT THE CAUSE OF OUR SALVATION!

We just need to keep our faith. Our faith that God does the work in us is what saves us.

@@dorisennis9908 Yes - what DOES that mean? It does NOT refer to losing salvation; you're reading that into the scripture. Contextually he's talking about his ability to be of any use to God in the preaching of the gospel to others. That's why in other translations it says "disqualified". This is why we need to look at the whole counsel of scripture and not insert our own meanings into things based upon our theological biases.
So revelation was written to the churches, the church has divorced itself over 40 thousand times, who's the whore in revelation?
Also in the revelation of Christ, twice says " Tho's that keep the commandments of God and has the testimony of Christ" blessed is the man who understands this book
I know a lot of people like to reference it to the water in Laodacia but what Jesus is actually saying is “make up your mind”. There are only two types of people in this world.. hot or cold. Child of Satan or child of the devil. Wheat or the tares. Sheep or goats. There are only two ways.. broad or narrow. The world or the Lord’s.
The Bible is full of these types of analogies. We can’t serve two masters. We can’t limp between two opinions. There’s light or there’s darkness. You’re salty or you’re thrown out. You’re hot or you’re cold. There are no lukewarms. That’s why He commands them to repent and be zealous. That’s the only option.
“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”” Joshua 24:15

The problem is a person says a prayer then they do absolutely zero disciplineship and live their lives doing the same thing they were doing before they got "saved". God is the Judge. There is no change in their behavior. They profess Christ, bare not fruit, and keep going through the motions. That is lukewarm.

I do believe in the grace thing, but I also understand that you have to convict the heart of a person so that they will beg and humble themselves before a holy and righteous God. Jesus Christ did it all. But doing what’s wrong also takes away the testimony of what Jesus has done.

lukewarm , it’s simple really , being hot is a believer who is on fire so to speak for Christ , being cold is a believer that is not outspoken about Christ .A lukewarm person doesn’t believe on the finished work of Christ .Jesus said Revelation 3:15-16 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Lukewarm isn’t someone sitting on the fence its people who outright don’t believe on the FINISHED work of Jesus or professing Christians who add works i.e. keeping the law to be saved.
Repent means to change your mind so in the case of the Jews they had to stop sacrificing animals for their sin and believe God had paid for all sin so repent from repenting of sin .

So everyone trying to stop sinning to earn or keep their salvation will forfeit their salvation because they are not expecting That Jesus paid for all sin. After we trust that Jesus paid for our past,present and future sins then our spirit is born again. Jesus set me free from habitual sin something I couldn't do on my own.
Do you believe in hard believism as opposed to easy believism, why is it hard for you to believe the words of Jesus who is God? When you interpret scripture do you interpret it by what Jesus who is God said, or are you making the mistake of interpreting what Jesus said by other scriptures? You are calling Jesus a liar, he said he gives us eternal life, you say he lied and only gave us partial or part time life. When did you figure out that Jesus got it wrong, and you got it right? 1 John 5:10-13 He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a LIAR, because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God has given to us ETERNAL life, and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son of God has not life. You are a liar and false prophet preaching another gospel, but you probably think you can call God a liar and can get away with it, but it says those that do preach another gospel let them be accursed.
I agree with what you're saying from the position of someone who has truly been saved, which is something that only God knows and we should have a witness to in our hearts (Romans 8:16). The reason why there is so much confusion around this subject, is due to the fact that man, being man, wants to equate a formula ("believe" + sinners prayer + do good things = salvation) when in reality, JESUS says that the equation looks more like this: (Father God draws + sinner is convicted + eyes are opened to the truth of their condition and who Jesus is + sinner repents and believes in Jesus = salvation).
In the first equation, man is following the formula (i.e. the sinner's prayer). If they aren't convicted of their sin or their need for Jesus, you'll have a false convert who thinks that because they "believe" in Jesus and they prayed the prayer that they are saved. Sadly, it is these people who never come to the truth and show absolutely no fruit in their lives - or worse, they get involved in dead works (which they think are good works) with no real change *inside*. In the second equation, GOD is the one drawing and convicting, and FROM THE HEART, the sinner responds and believes. There's a reason that the Bible never includes saying a sinner's prayer as part of the means to salvation - that's because the ONLY requirement is that we (truly) BELIEVE. I'll cite the thief on the cross as my example.
In the West, we have reduced salvation down to a formula and that's why we have so many false converts. GOD THE FATHER must draw a person, the HOLY SPIRT must convict that person and JESUS must reveal himself to that person so that their eyes may be opened and they genuinely believe. That's all according to scripture. Not saying that the sinner's prayer is a bad thing, provided that it's a response to God and not some rote thing that's repeated absent of faith.
We are saved by grace through faith, not of works. Eph 2:8-9. There are plenty of scriptures that teach we must repent and abide in Jesus. We must persevere in the faith. I’m not calling Jesus a liar. I love him so much I’m willing to lay down my own will and desires and do what He commands and requires of me as His word teaches. This is the gospel. I don’t select the words of Jesus (or any scripture) that I prefer while ignoring others.

Romans 6:23 For the payment for sin is death, which Jesus has done for us, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is not by anything we do, he has done it all for us but to believe him. I feel useless.. jammed up a bit in a weird situation. I mostly talk about scripture to people, or relate world events to prophesy "Russia and N Korea are Magog and Gog!" I hope and trust in God, I feel like I need or want or think I should do more, and I don't.

Please pray for me. I've been a Christian for 36 years and I'm just really tired. This world and life experience has broken me as a person.
The real gospel transforms, period. Genuine faith ultimately leads to obedience. It aligns you with the mind of Christ, where you now hate sin the same way God does. Not talking about perfection but an actual desire to wanting to obey. All those who see no issue at all with sin, thinking they can live their lives however their wicked heart desires, sin as much as they want and still be saved, those people's hearts have never been truly touched by the gospel. They are the ones honoring Christ with their lips only while their hearts are far from him. Not truly born again. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Not because works save us, but its the very fruit aka evidence of genuine faith.

I think that’s a perfect picture of the lukewarm.
Lukewarm believers not only harm themselves, they are harmful to others. They are cool enough to blend in with the unsaved, but warm enough to blend in with the saved. That’s why you may see the same person who goes clubbing on Saturday night serving in church on Sunday morning. Their unsaved friends think being a Christian means still living carnally, but adding the occasional Christian reference to your life. Thus the lukewarm do not witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. They can also harm the church by providing a bad testimony which brings a reproach to Christ’s name. I know of believers who have stumbled because of the lukewarm, and others who have taken a hard fall and followed their examples.
