Frank Turek is probably my favorite. I learn so much from people like him, Mike Winger, Sean McDowell, Joel Kramer. The list could go on. People like Ruslan help point people to these teachers and show the importance. But all of them point to Christ. Thanks for being obedient and helping people come to Christ.

If you're not familiar with him yet, check out Chad Bird. He has a smaller channel and does more short clips, but his handling of Scripture and depth of knowledge is excellent. I recently discovered him and his content is incredibly edifying! I haven't read any of his books yet, but I plan on picking up a few of them.

I was just fired on 2/12 for calling out mandatory DEI and implicit bias training. I'm 17 year veteran Emergency Room Nurse who was a member of my departments leadership team at the only medical center in Hagerstown, Maryland. I was reported by a colleague for a social media post calling out companies with these requirements.

That's private and shouldn't be used against you.
I'd pursue discrimination charges for that workplace. They should have to prove that you've done things on the job not voice an opinion on private social media

Only as a matter of fact. We see it everyday. Once the courts have two parents separated and dueling, they can dictate so much about all of their lives.
No, you can't move to this or that state.. No you can't see your child on weekdays or every other week. No you can't have your God given autonomy... No you can't stop your ex spouse from allowing the mutilation and end the natural and precious reproductive system of your child to appear as the opposite sex.

I have been listening to candace Owen's the last few years but otherwise am not concerned. Until frank said this I never thought of It this way, and honestly I have been a truther for 15 years! Thus should be obvious but it did the opposite.. it made me despise those people but not care to do anything about it.. that's the 2 main things conspiracy theories can cause harm to.. your faith and the facts of how to "beat" these conspiracy theories so to speak.. how to break the cycles.. frank please run for president!! I wanted to forget and bury it BUT I have always believed that whatever happens in life happens for a reason. The good ,bad and all that’s in between. I believe God sent us here for two reasons. To Learn and to love 💗. To experience everything we can do we can elevate our souls to higher understanding so we can be a better shepherd for Jesus and God. The most important one is to LOVE 💕 that is it. To spread it as much as possible so more can feel Gods true essence so they can remember where their true home is.Right next to the son and the father in Heaven ✝️

From what I have heard they are not watering down black history in Florida. I have heard on tv one of the black historians who helped to write the Florida school curriculum. What the media had a fit about was in the textbook saying although slavery was bad, slaves learned valuable skills. Many liberals were outraged and said slaves already had skills before they were transported to America. The problem is the national news media twist so many stories. I looked up information on this topic from local papers in Florida. I live in Georgia and hear the same thing about our schools at the school board meeting from a few. I don't think school curriculum is watering down slavery.

Frank kinda tweaking here. It isn’t the church’s fault that people sin and are ungodly, just as it isn’t God’s fault that people reject him in unrighteousness. People are responsible and at fault for their own sin.
The church is only at fault for its failures to be salt and light like Christ told his first followers to be, but even where it has been you still see people departing from and denying Christ.

Quote from Rosaria Butterfield's new book - 'Five Lies of our Anti-Christian Age'
"For years I said things like , "Homosexuality is a sin, but so is homophobia." I defined homophobia as a wholesale dismissal of someone's soul, that is, of seeing some people as outside of the grace of God. But this is neither a truthful definition of sin nor a truthful definition of homophobia. A phobia is an irrational fear. It is not irrational to fear sin running rampant."

Totally respect people's views, but remember that God uses the imperfect fir good. There are few humans on earth that could take the slings and arrows that evil has thrown his way and continued to fight and press on to save the soul of this country. Can't we see that God must have something to do with that? I'm shocked by the number of Christians that are unable to see this and are only able to see the superficial layer in front of them.

Phenomenal discussion. I'm with you on the Desantis vs trump thing and I think unfortunately people have elevated trump to a savior of some sort. Christians are not voting based upon biblical principles or policies that line up with scriptures. They are voting for personality and showmanship.

No fault divorce laws protect women and children in abusive relationships!!! 😢😢😢😢 a friend was in a relationship with a nonbeliever who pretended to have a relationship with God. The abuse husband would have used the government to keep her in the abusive relationship. But no fault divorce allowed my friend to get free of her abuser. Proving abuse is very hard. Especially if you have laws that prevent recording without consent. Please keep no fault divorce.

No fault divorce also benefits women. Women can cheat and divorce their husband, and still take half of their assets.

In the case of an abusive relationship the fault would be on the abuser driving their partner away and causing them to need to sever the bond. You wouldn't need no fault divorce imo, just a different framing of how you would view and place blame for the divorce ending. If I make the relationship toxic enough my partner has to flee for safety and end the marriage and then the blame for it is placed on them, it just sounds like victim blaming to me. That can be a cultural change and not a legal one.

There is one book in particular that I am aware of that supports open borders called "open borders: the science and ethics of immigration" by Byran Caplan. It's a graphic novel that was taught by an english teacher at a public middle school (the teacher says he's a Christian, but he hangs a Pride flag in his class). I encountered the book at my job as a substitute teacher in California for his class, and from my understanding, the author describes himself as "anarcho-capitalist," I believe. As a christian, I don't think any idea involving "anarchy" is necessarily good, but because I haven't read the book, I can't say what his arguments are.

I am a Christian and like the idea of anarcho capitalism, but it's ultimately not practical. Therefore I support a minarchist system.

Issues related to immigration are civil offenses or civil cases and are the sole purview of the federal government. It is not a criminal offense or criminal case nor is it the purview of state law, so any state that makes laws around the issue of immigration or unilateral enforces immigration law without having it been delegated to them are illegally usurping the federal government’s authority and discretion. Immigration laws are self-contained, so it won’t go into someone’s criminal records like assault and battery would, nor is it considered a violent crime where the use of deadly force is authorized for neutralization, but it will go on their other immigration history records. In the case of the Texas law, if the federal government used their discretion to give said persons asylum, TPS, or other temporary permission to stay, adjusted immigration status, or even leave them alone because they’re not committing crimes, they’ll still be considered criminals with a criminal record, which goes against US federal law which preempts/supersedes state law. The federal government has the sole authority on issues related to immigration, some random state can’t just side step the federal government on interstate and foreign relations matters in violation of the U.S. Constitution, US Supreme Court rulings, and Laws (Commerce Clause, the Naturalization Clause, Immigration Law, Citizenship/Nationality Law, the
Necessary and Proper Clause, Law of Nations Clause, etc.), and in contravention to the international law treaty obligations signed and ratified by the United States.
    --
If the Texas governor orders the shooting of migrants at the border, he probably might not only get a murder charge, but may eveb get charged for crimes against humanity; he may even cause an international insident (legally equivalent to attacking a foreign nation) that puts the US in a bind if his Texas Military Department and/or Texas Rangers/Police end up shooting a Mexican boarder guard on the other side of boarder. He’s already making a mess by disregarding U.S. Federal Law, US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) rulings made by a conservative majority, and preventing U.S. Boarder Patrol from exercising their authority/doing their job, for example by not letting them attempt to rescue drowning migrants who are drowning because Texas Governor Abbot unilaterally ordered the Texas National Guard to put traps and bollards in the Rio Grande to push down and drown people.
    --
The Texas Military Department is a state government department that organizes/administers both the Texas National Guard (that can be federalized or confiscated by the U.S. President during exeptional circumstances or when the governor abuses power) and the Texas State Guard (which is a local state militia/state defense force under the sole control of the state governor which does not take orders from and cannot be federalized/confiscated by the U.S. President in the event of an emergency or abuse of power by a governor.
