I went to Founders Brewing Company to see Marco Benevento and the Mattson 2 opened for him. After their performance I left because it was so good. unforgettable. Much respect.
@@wesleyrulz09 yep, I just realized that after watching a few more gigs, but now I want to know more about their gear I remember watching a premier guitar video showing that
@@kappiiee you first click the octave pedal to lower your guitar to bass notes, and play like a bass guitar line and the output will mimic a bass guitar. Then the looper pedal will record what you play and output an endless loop for you to play along to with your regular guitar sounds. Especially when it's a jam song playing over the same chord progression for the majority of the song. I actually don't have much experience with pedals, just never got to buying them, but I'm familiar with some of the "essential" pedals a solo musician would like to have to maximize their sound while performing minimal actions (example stopping playing to manually change your amp settings, while pedals do it on the fly(
So good guys keep em coming....itd be so funny to play in an old lady's basement nn have her keep checking on the noise....mock the commercials mocking rat....i heard some rainbows nn waterfalls...nice
@@Shinola3 I have some theories on your suspicion. I’ve seen these guys live. Several times. They do in fact layer loops upon loops during live performances. Switching places with instruments even. I suspect it’s a backing track. Because damn that’s a long loop. Also. They’d surely be interacting with said ‘hidden bass player’. With the songs coming out so tightly ? How could they just ignore a bass player so in the pocket with them? It wouldn’t happen. I’ve seen them perform shows with other bassists. They are happy to perform with other musicians from what I can see.
Allan Cordero I assume they’re playing along with the recordings used in the song, it’s pretty common for multi instrumentalists who don’t have a band to play with live

Looper and octave pedal are your best friends when you have 2 bodies, but 10 brains

@@wesleyrulz09 i'm kinda new to that stuff, what does the octave pedal do? Create a rithmic counter part?

who else was playing when we were hearing bass but not seeing one?
he uses a loop pedal and octave pedal!
What is that beautiful yellow SG/Jaguar looking guitar hanging in the back?
to everyone asking about the bass, it’s a looper and octave pedal :)
pretty sure thats a backing track?
I just believe it’s a guy hidden on the left in the room off camera
... his feet can be seen once in a while in the left corner. Sad somehow, that not to say the guys are not awesome

Very cool, dudes! 👍
Hey Jared.. What amp were you using? Sounds great!
I can't tell if it's a black face deluxe or princeton off to the left, but that's definitely what he's using.
Looks like an Ampeg.. Probably a V4
Where does the other guitar and bass comes from?

Kut U Up brought me here.
Where's the bass player?🤔
he uses a looper and an octave pedal! :)
Killer
Love the sound but I can hear someone playing the bass and it's neither of the brothers.
who in the hell is playing bass?
Jesus christ these guys rip. I feel so weird when I see no one has really discovered shit this, like why.
