Earthless is like a cool little club. I wish they were a household name. When people complain about the lack of good old rock minded rock music. I show them Earthless, I've yet to have a dissatisfaction logged.
Followed these guys for about 10 years but finally got to see them live last night in Toronto and WOW. I go to a TON of shows, but this one just hit different. No other way I can describe it. They had me in a trance for the better part of 2 hours. Phenomenal.
I still remember the first time I heard Earthless. A friend of mine put Rhythms from a cosmic sky on one night after a few beers. I remember distinctly asking, how the hell do stay so tight but still so chaotic and freeform sounding?? To which he replied - “Dude, they call it the cosmic nod!!” Floored me.
I only somehow discovered these guys during the covid lockdown. A friend of mine randomly messaged me out of the blue to check in and literally said to me, dunno if you have ever heard of these guys, but if you haven't, I think you will dig! Enjoy! I was up very very late that night listening, best recommendation possibly ever! Thank you so much Kevin, these guys are fucking awesome!
the drummer does so well at directing the pace of the band. in their live videos you can see him bringing the pace up and down, taking off and reeling it back in after long solos. its pretty sick. also the bass player is damn good. his tone is sick too
Very nice. The way the guitar player creates unorthodox notes is great. Sounds like Hendrix. The bass player don't miss a lick. I tried playing next to this guy and it's pretty damn hard to play lead for 20 minutes straight. He wore my ads out. Hope you comw to New Orleans sometimes. Get hooked up with the house of blues. I did the manager's gutters on his house. He is a nice guy.

I appreciate this band more than a corporate metal band playing in front of 300,000 fans. This is superb. I am so glad I came across Earthless.
