I watch this film every year. I hardly have dry eyes while watching this movie. What really makes this movie is how we see the relationship between Giuseppe and Gerry Conlon. Gerry hated his father, and as he got older, he ended up understanding and loving him. It's so sad what happened to Gerry Conlon later on in life. I read that he suffered terrible PTSD from his experience.

I courted during the early 1970s and the majority of the Southern Irish wanted no involvement in the troubles in NI While I grieve for the losses of the innocent, especially Omagh, I do not grieve for the murderers. This film portrays the Liars in the Met who think they are immune. They are still there 50 years later

Thrusting pictures of the dead in their faces . Denying them the medication to stop the withdrawal symptoms of the Heroin- Methodone These tactics should've rendered any confession as null and void as it was obtained under intense duress

The late Pete Postlethwaite was a terrific actor. I always enjoy watching his performances.
That's because his character was dead by at least 8 years.
