Brian’s like the nicest guy in the world, but also a complete badass. Also, Reptile Prime is the best bedding ever. Thank you for making something of your own.
My first attempt at breeding today.... The male n female have just been introduced and seem to be getting on ok... Thanks to you and your channel :) wish me luck
My boyfriend and I have been using the Herptopia coconut fiber after seeing you suggested it for about a month, and it works amazingly for our ball python! It's so much easier to keep the humidity up with this substrate and it's easy to clean
good morning Brian this is a great video idea unless you are made of money it's great to know things like this for people who are not made of money thank you for your time and effort in making this video
Brian very helpful episode. thank u so much. watching your videos on this channel and on the vlog channel is always a great way to start my day. have a awesome day
You can also buy a box of 2 ounce deli cups from Sam's Club. You get about 1000-2000 cups for about $45. I bought a box a few years ago and still haven't run out. plus you can use them for your own meals for dipping sauce like ranch and bbq sauce :)
Beyond BPA, other chemicals can be found in various food storage containers. Containers made out of polyethylene terephthalate (PET or PETE, or plastic #1)-such as most soda bottles-are OK to use once, but can leach carcinogenic, hormone-disrupting phthalates when used over and over again. Also, many deli items come wrapped in plastic made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC, or plastic #3), which can leach cancer-causing dioxins. If you use delly cups, only use them once!
You can alsow contact your local newspaper and ask for newpaper end rolls. The paper is plain whight. I get ours for about $10 a roll. We use them for are parrot. Her cage bottom is 2x2 ft. The roll will last us about a month and a half. We change the paper evey day.
Great tips! I'm adding this to my hydroponics playlist, as plants can use some of these items too and I bet they'd be cheaper than buying them from a nursery.
Thanks Brian! I'm starting to breed Crested Geckos and Cornsnakes so this helped quite a bit. (I'm only breeding small time so I don't get overwhelmed lol)
I love this snake and reptile breeding is something I really want to do (thanks to your vids!) And me and my mom watched this and are talking about this! (as I'm only 15)
Sam's Club has disposable plastics if you don't have a Gordon's Food Services locally. you can get quateranary sanitizer from any beauty supply company as it is the standard sanitizer in beauty and barber salons.
Dear Brian, I have a question, can you keep a ball python with herptopia coco husk and should I get a hatchling or an adult. Kind regards Shelby. Ps your videos are great!
Hey, Brian, all this stuff looks interesting but what do I do if I want to go green; I want to use snake tubs but there made of plastic and not 100% good for the environment. I don't want to use all those deli cups either.
Brian, Did you mean vision cages instead of vision racking? looked at vision racking and on the website they only have industrial and commercial shelving and racking systems. Thanks for an awesome video!
hi Brian I asked this question before in one of your other videos but I wanted to make sure you see it so again are rats better then mice for snakes as far as nutritionally ?
devlin1586 first suggestion is to do your homework about the animal/animals you want to have in your life and know generally in and out just don't stop learning so you know your animals quirks temperament and so on
I'm currently 11 years old and I'm really interested in breeding ball pythons. I've done so much research but I'm not allowed to get any. I'm trying really hard to convince my dad (who hates snakes) to let me get a breeding pair. Do you have any tips for convincing him to let me have them?
Hello Brian, it is Laurent of the You tube channel Ice Reptile. I wanted to know, which is for you the best substratum for Corn Snakes Thank you and Bravo for the video.
I am thinking about getting a snake. Do you think an Asia Vine Snake is a fine starter snake? I have no plans to purchase one until next year so that I can do some decent research beforehand. Thanks for any info you may provide.
ESUSAMEX I personally recommend ball pythons as starter snakes just because theyre very docile and very easy. theyre a bit hard to feed, but i think they are really good for first time snake owners. but if you have your heart set on an Asia vine snake than do the research and go for it

I LOVE my animal plastics and RBI racks. They work amazingly and will hold heat better in my opinion in a room that isn't heated centrally like BHB
Yes! This is why Wednesday is my favorite day of the week!
Omg this is funny I'm first time breeding my geckos this season!!! Thanks for this!!
Tristen Kelley that will be my next venture I think . Going to focos on sand boas for a bit though .

Hey, Brian, all this stuff looks interesting but what do I do if I want to go green; I want to use snake tubs but there made of plastic and not 100% good for the environment. I don't want to use all those deli cups either.

Question about the Lysol. Do you spray, wipe dry and immediately put the snake back in or does it have to air out for a while?
jtamayo1128 you should use F10 vet sanitizer , comes in concentrate , you just follow instructions and mix with water in spray bottle
Hey Brian have you ever bred crested or tokay geckos?
Brian, Did you mean vision cages instead of vision racking? looked at vision racking and on the website they only have industrial and commercial shelving and racking systems. Thanks for an awesome video!

hi Brian I asked this question before in one of your other videos but I wanted to make sure you see it so again are rats better then mice for snakes as far as nutritionally ?
I personally think rat's r better 4 lots of different reasons

Whoooa this information I knew about 3 years ago.
are those first racks heated or do some snakes not need a heated side.

adding tollett paper to your arsnel and knowing when to use it over paper towel can cut your cost alot..
Hello Brian, it is Laurent of the You tube channel Ice Reptile. I wanted to know, which is for you the best substratum for Corn Snakes
Thank you and Bravo for the video.
In the video he said he uses aspen bedding for all of his colubrids, including corn snakes.
