- In gameplay footage revealed at TGS 2015, Noctis and his crew explore a new area on the backs of chocobos, showing off some of the ways the classic series mount can move in FINAL FANTASY XV. The party then dismounts and heads to a pier for some fishing, a new mini-game players can explore. The fish you can catch can even be taken back to camp and cooked!

forget the classics, with the power of our PCs and consoles(yes i said consoles) today it's almost a waste keep using the old school battle/movement system, i'm a veteran and fan of the old games, FF5 6 7 8, for me, are still the best, but i also appreciate innovation, SE want to try something of new? well, do it! i prefer innovation instead of the same system in a different game(just the name), about the waiting time? ppl complain too much(ppl complain for everything honestly, like kids), i don't care how long it will take, i'll wait, i prefer to wait for a good game than complain for have an incomplete game and an "early" release.. i know it's almost 10 years, but 10 years if you think of the first project, versus 13, THIS game, FFXV, is under development since 4 5 year, as SE said, they restarted everything, new developing team, new story, characters reboot, etc, so it's perfectly normal, it's the same time R* used for GTA5 since the release of GTA4, or TW3 from TW2, etc etc
So don't be hypocrites, sorry no hate. And remember always, you don't like it? don't follow this channel and its news, and don't buy the game when will be released. (sorry for my english XD)

Damien John The battle theme has been severely overused at this point.. I think they just don't want to reveal the rest of the OST yet.
+Andreas Michael Design All music is temporary, they only released like a handful of pieces. They are trying to keep most of the soundtrack under the loop.

+Sherlock inHD - Games Are you nuts? This game is much more technically impressive than either Witcher 3 or GTA 5. They are not in the same league. Animation, textures, lighting, polygon count, shadows, whatever.....This game wrecks the competition. The only other competition is Horizon: Zero Dawn. Of course, wre are talking about PS4 vs PS4, here. It's not fair to compare a PS4 game to a PC game on much more expensive hardware. WHen the PC version of Final Fnatasy XV launches, then you can compare it to PC versions of Witcher 3 and GTA 5.....But even then, FF XV on PS4 looks better than those....Resolution and framerate are one thing, the rest you cannot make up for by just throwing more horsepower at the game.

+Sherlock “Games” inHD I own the Witcher 3 for PS4 and I can tell you that even the FFXV demo looks better graphically. Not saying the Witcher isn't gorgeous, because it is. FFXV is just better looking though. The animations are also better.

The music... nobody can touch Square Enix when it comes to music / graphics and gameplay. This game is going to be one epic adventure. No more delays please, and please don't release it in December... 2016.

When MGS4 came out, they had already spoiled the entirety of the awesome raiden fights, the Ray vs Rex fight, the FROGS, Snake's suicide.... FF15 already has enough media out there to make an informed decision.
Dire Oneiros I did the same with MGS5, Last of Us, and Beyond: Two Souls. Its not too difficult when you have enough in your life to distract you.

If you want story, I recommend this video. It was enough to make me more excited for this story than for any other story ever made in a video game.

This game is going to be THE shit. It's painfully obvious. I'm not even saying that because of what I just saw in that video, I mean I love chocobos, but I also know I'm never going to start fishing unless it gives you a nice reward as a sidequest. People can say whatever they want, I firmly believe that the game is going to be great.
+The Seiyu Channel the dishes at camp give you specific buffs, this mechanic alone promotes all ingredient gethering related activities

I still cant believe how not every single person that watches ffxv gameplay isnt completely blow away by this shit. I love everything about it and so should everybody else the end.
final fantasy fans are generally very negative people, in this case they complain about the game being developed for over 9 years(while development for the ff15 as we know it only started around 3 years ago or something, since they had to start over), and you can blame the higher ups of square for that, but they take their frustration out on tabata, while he is doing an amazing job. also, this game is not like older final fantasy titles, so it's bad... stuff like that. so they are extremely nitpicky, and aggressive, becouse since the game has apperantly been in development for 9 years, ff15 should do everything right, and nothing less(and that is impossible for a game that has really only been in development for around 3 years)... but I am with you, this game looks amazing, it looks fun and it could potentially be a new favorite final fantasy game for me.

Final fantasy fans are not the negative ones but the hipster bullshitters that attack anything popular are the negative ones. the only time final fantasy fans have actually been negative towards a final fantasy game, is final fantasy 13 with good reasoon.

I completely understand that people are negative towards the ff13 games(I am the same), but alot of people just seem to take it out on ff15. while ff15 has a completely different development team and director. it just annoys me that you have to find the positive comments throughout a wave of negativity, on TH-cam at least. but yeah, I know not nearly every ff fan is like that.

This game looks well made and with passion. Hardly you don't see that in devs. Really beautiful.

See...THIS is why I feel the excitement for this game is not unfounded. You can clearly tell the effort at which they are putting into making an amazing game. The small details and quirks of character movements and reaction to Noctis catching the fish. The delicious looking aftermath. When a game goes above and beyond is when a legend is created. Is this game a legend? I can't say for sure until it's released, but yes, my hopes are high based on what I've seen so far.
Sorry Final Fantasy, Chocobo drifting is cool, but it'll never beat Nier's Boar drifting.

Chocobo racing - if in - will be elevated. Dat drifting is slick. I enjoyed the theme, too.
Fishing looks cool, but I think they should leave out the music. I'd rather just listen to the sound of the wind and water. So tranquil.
Visuals and art look great, as always. The grassy area with the thick mud, and the accumulated puddles, looks brilliant.
They're also nailing the more realistic portrayal of the franchise. Square said they wanted the creatures to appear as if they would fit in the real world, and I'd say they're successful here. The herd, and aquatic monsters, don't look so out of place.
Is this game beautiful or what? Now they have to fill it all with actual gameplay.

You should try the fishing mini games in Suikoden II and Yakuza 3. Those are pretty fun and challenging as well
+ARMOR15 Suikoden II is the shit! Quite possibly one of my favorite games of all time (I'm a big JRPG fan btw). I tried fishing on that game maybe once or twice without fully exploring it. It's about time to replay the game I suppose.

Square Enix is really putting all of its resources and efforts into this game. I highly doubt this game won't be amazing. I mean come on, for the first time ever riding the Chocobo is actually fun. Gameplay wise I'm sure it's amazing, my brother hated FF series for so long, and he actually loved this one. all that's left is the story, and I hope they create an amazing story cause so far all I see is a cliche, dethroned prince and a fallen kingdom's story, and that's not promising.
With that being said, I really want all those 7 years that I've waited for this game to be worth it.

The one thing that really made me happy was realizing that the music that plays when a threat is nearby (just before a battle actually breaks out) is essentially the opening lines of other FF battle themes. It's got the dun dun dun dun thing going on. Real cleaver, Square, and a nice way to keep that classic opening bit in a game where you aren't thrust into battles.

If they're doing half of this with the open world ZELDA game coming for Wii U in 2016, I will be thoroughly impressed.... FFXV is bound to set records though guys, what a stellar fucking game! JUST TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY....
