Jen.. I got my results! So after 10 years of being exposed the a HIV positive women and still with her to this day. We sometimes had sex when she was in her periods, we had sex in all the positions, anal sometimes also, etc.. So its really hard to get it from a women, period! My results came back negative! So get off the women's back, they don't give HIV to men! Thanks

Because if she was on treatment, then her not transmitting is a moot point bc we already know that when someone living with HIV, who is on treatment, they won’t transmit anyway . @@Pozleigh Hi. No all these years, (10 years) she was not on treatment. She only started her treatment in April of this year 2024 and this after getting extremely sick of PCP pneumonia. Even weeks prior, we she had continually low grade fevers and cough and we had sex a few times. So I'm either really lucky, or its not given from women to men period.
I'm 100 days HIV negative test result but between those 100 days with sadness, regret, anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts God i can't believe im still alive 🙏

Heterosexual male here, I had periods if night sweats, canker in my mouth and two er visit where i thought i was going to pass out. I have protected sex on the regular and unprotected sex with one female partner whom i trust for years. Thought i had HIV, test came back negative today. Turns out im prediabetic and dehydrated along with some anxiety. If you are a straight man only having sex with women, get tested but don’t stress over HIV. its low risk

I do believe this is true, and I think it came out of a chapter in AIDS activism when no one was helping the gay community. By making it clear that anyone could get the virus-- which is technically true-- AIDS became the world's problem and not that of only the marginalized. But let's face it folks-- most people out there TRY to be safe, some of the time, and most people are NOT safe all of the time. It is no secret that condoms are awful, and huge numbers of people avoid them-- it's just the truth. If HIV transmission was easy for straight people, absolutely massive numbers of people would have died of AIDS well before the medication became available in 1996. I would have died-- several times over. And I was fucking terrified of AIDS. It didn't stop me from having unsafe sex with women. And it didn't stop most of you hets out there, either.
They'll probably come after you for saying this. You're such a sorted person and I wish people think as clearly as you do. More power to you; you're amazing!!

As a nurse, you clearly don’t know much about HIV transmission. I took all my prerequisites for nursing and changed direction after my diagnosis. Your title does not in any way make you an HIV expert. My diagnosis and connection with the HIV community does.

Women do not give it to women. I attend HIV conferences and this is a well known fact in the community.
Your a beautiful person Jennifer and it’s hard for me as a 27 year old to cope with everything since recently being diagnosed with the virus. I must be one of the few guys to have actually contracted to virus from a female considering I’m heterosexual and have never been with another male or injected drugs before. I don’t blame no one but myself I just wish I wasn’t so unlucky in life. I just hope I can find the motivation to continue moving forward and see that their is a bright future that lies ahead. Sorry if I hurt you, but have you used condom when you had sex. Like u contracted from unprotected sex or even from a protected one. Please say something. Stay strong and be happy as you have come through this channel. Follow everything suggested by her. I wish you gain all the strength needed to live the rest of your life happily despite the stigma. I recently lost a family member for this disease ( due to the stigma than the disease) because she started her medication in her last stage of the disease and don't know whether she adhered to the drug. Her husband also got infected. We believe he got infected from her, because at the time of their first diagnosis her cd4 was 215 and his was 900+ so we believe she was infected first. Anyway we lost her because she was scared to inform anyone though she may have known a little bit earlier and may be failed to adhere to the medicine after diagnosis.

You're right. I dated a woman who was HIV+ for over a year. She insisted on condoms at first but that didn't last. She knew she had it but didn't tell me. While although that was wrong of her to do, I can understand why she didn't disclose her status (fear, shame, guilt, etc). I found out a few years after we split up and was absolutely convinced I had contracted it. I went as far as telling my mother, my wife and my closest friends. After a blood test I was literally shocked to learn that I was HIV-. Female to male transmission is obviously not very likely.

@@laurenstringer7109 you're absolutely correct. Before I got my test results I was in a completely different mindset about it (to say they least). I came of age in the 90's and back then we were taught that ANY unprotected sexual (or IV) contact with an infected person would surely result in transmission. I don't know how or why I didn't contract it but I did fall to my knees and ask God to spare my wife and children. Who knows why I was spared?
@@rdcb1057 I honestly don't know if she was on meds. This occurred between 2006 and 2008 and i don't know what meds were available then. As far as "acts", I would guess somewhere around 70 (bare minimum) - 100 and that includes a few anals. I do know that she's still alive and seemingly well, so she has apparently got on medication at some point. And in case you were wondering - yes, she was extremely attractive and the picture of perfect health.

I am from South Africa, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that in Africa male/male sex is very frequent between “heterosexual” men. The men feel nothing about have sex with other men as a “fill in” while away from their women. They do not consider themselves “gay” at all, but will engage in m/m sex when away.
I have frequently observed the same behavior with wealthy Arab men from Saudi Arabia, who travel with young men as travel companions, so that they are not seen to be “cheating” on their wives at home.
It really is an odd observation to make from a western cultural perspective, but it is an unspoken and undocumented cultural characteristic behavior. Talking to local African men about this brings offense and they will vehemently deny that they are “gay”. Many will even threaten effeminate openly gay men, yet they have the same sexual behavior while away from home.
You have touched on a very very important and unspoken aspect of HIV transmission in Africa.
Eligos Completely different cultures and linguistics. The people in the north particularly Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and modern Egypt are very diluted and mixed. Most are of a Turkish, French and Roman ancestry but are Arabized or Muslims.

@Angel krishi first you need to go to hospital and get an immediate pills for exposure and stuff. Usually it’s for rape or medical doctors who get exposed it’s really expensive so I hope your prepared to take pay out of pocket ( mine was through rape so I got it for free) and they make you take it 30 days and then you get tested every few weeks. Not sure where you are but try an hiv clinic since it’s not a rape situation. And you should be fine. This happened about a year ago and I’m still negative actually pregnant now so. And please take prEP these men are nasty and trifling and he doesn’t care about you if he can neglect his own health. And FYI sex workers usually don’t do raw sex so he could be lying or a tinder hook up. But don’t trust him and leave his ass! He is dangerous !

You’re so right. Ive been a nurse for 15 years...all the women I’ve taken care of with HIV have either contracted it from a needle or a man. Of the women that shared their story with me, with regard to getting it from their boyfriend/fiancé/husband, all found out that there men were with other men behind there back. One patient got her ex husband convicted in FL for knowingly giving it to her (she found out once pregnant with twins, she got him to admit to knowing and confessing how he go it). Working with OB/GYN we have to keep up on studies and research for patient teaching...and you are correct...the likelihood of a man contracting from a women via vaginal sex is very low.
Many have tried to silence me on this and I refuse to. Some men get mad and feel like I’m picking on bisexual men, but you know what happens when no one talks about it, women are blamed (we’re a scapegoat for their secrets). That’s why I won’t be silent. Thank you for your comment. 🙏🏼♥️

Also in Africa there were instances of immunizations needles being reused. There are also recent cases of an HIV + MALE PHYSICIAN reusing contaminated needles on the Pakistan pediatric patients resulting in them getting the disease! I was a healthcare worker for several years and noticed the same things as you have noticed in this video! STAY STRONG and KEEP EDUCATING! :)

My girlfriend of 3 and half years was diagnosed with HIV in 2001 and her viral load has been undetectable well before she even met me( I think around 10 years). We have unprotected sex all the time and she assured me that she can't transmit it. I feel healthy as a horse and have never had any symptoms.
She’s 100% right because she’s undetectable, but truly the point of my video is how rare it is for a woman to transmit with a detectable viral load. 🌷♥️

That is what I am saying since 2005 ! A doctor in France told me that the odds of getting it from a woman are astronamically uncommon in industralized countries. He also told me that the 1 in 2500 odds (odds in 2005 were 1 in 2000 before they were updated) are biaised by guys who deny other risks factors, and that most (he later stated maybe all) of heterosexual men cases are not classified that way if you investigate. When I said that in class in 2005, people told me that it was criminal to say that. I hope that they are now watching your video. Big kisses !

My Girl is positive . On no meds for almost 3 years. I thought I would test positive. Nope!!! 2 negative test! 1 71 days after the last time We had sex. Then another 91 days after last sex act. I remember a doctor told me that men are the ones who carry all these STDs but show no signs a lot of times. Makes me think about hpv and how there doesn't seem to be a way to test men like they can test women. HIV/Aids definitely got it's big start with man on man sex.

that's true, HIV is very high in gay community and I believe most women got it from downlow men. HIV actually started in gay community and later went to heterosexual community through bisexual men. I live in Africa and there are alot of gays undercover who have sex with married men and bisexual men. If you are gay and bottom the chances of getting are super high.

I was addicted to cocaine and when I had the effect of cocaine on my body I did a lot of crazy things and one of those crazy things was having sex with crack users and all of them were without a condom, there were several of them over a period of 10 years and my HIV tests They were always negative, I didn't have anal sex and the women were never menstruating and I don't have phimosis. I think the information in this video is true. I gave my statement because I believe that reports in videos like this are very important for gathering statistics.

I just want to say idk how I found your channel but learning your story and learning about u has opened my eyes. I’m 24 so I’m part of this “generation” that’s very reckless.
