hate-watching Kendall Jenner's Architectural Digest home tour 😭😭😭 been curious about this book since everyone's read it. not quite sure what to think of it after your review! 😬
yeah..,; the last leg of tomorrow was really ummm…. not needed hahaha but that just goes to show how good the rest of the book was bc i still think it was great despite that
also less relevant but i was watching this at work earlier & as you were talking abt The Friend my coworker came and told me that this regular has a dog named Apollo - completely unprompted, i had headphones in etc. and it was seconds after you were saying ‘the one thing i will give this book - the dog etc’ am still weirded out.
oh third thing i stopped at a secondhand bookstore on my way home and picked up passing, had a diff book i was looking for but i found it by chance n u had sold me on it earlier
Ok strange cause a couple weeks after finishing that book I was sitting next to these older ppl at a cafe and it felt like they were the characters in the friend right off the page….it was scary
Alright! I’m convinced I need to pick up Tomorrowx3 I just put it on hold at the Library and I’m in a queue of over 250 people.😂 Also, put Strangers to Ourselves on hold because your review was great!
ha ha ha "I wanted to save Apollo" is wonderful -- I liked The Friend, but nonetheless really enjoyed your review of it. I recommend you pick up Quicksand by Larsen since you liked Passing

Yes! I felt like that plot twist was super forced but I still ate it up because I was too invested at that point

You should listen to it as an audiobook! I liked how it felt like each chapter was a new story

Save Apollo!!
Yes Quicksand is on my list!
I didn't care for The Friend either. It was just giving me nothing interesting, just blah! haha
Yeah it was giving absolutely nothing!
