  • In today’s news we discuss a very rudimentary understanding of economics, ethics and art. Meta is taking art, film prices are going up and I have a sunburn so not the best news but still hopefully enough to get excited about!

That’s not a bad idea, my place has a few too many windows to make it happen

The Kodak model (Raise the price!) is better than the Fuji model (Kill it!)

Time to stop calling it AI Art and instead call it Computer Rendered Artificial Pictures :)

Maybe you said so in an earlier video but what do you use as a negative scanner? Do you have a dedicated device or do you use a flatbed type thing?

Higher film costs suck :( that aside on the AI stuff in general... I have to announce I've been training / trained on a visual data stream of images of the world my whole life, viewing and visually "stealing" every photo and bit of art I've ever seen. Learning how to replicate the works of art and imagery others have made before me. I've looked at on the Internet, in books, all your works.... and I am a A.... person... Whats the difference? A person can study all your art carefully and if they really wanted to they could replicate it or the style of ones work in the same way as the AI everyone is afraid of. It's been happening ever since there was more then one person on earth. Like an artist doing work in the style of another or "inspired" by other art. The main difference in this case is AI is better and faster then us at doing it. I guess that's more scary 😅

That aside, wouldn't it be interesting to train an AI entirely on only your own art. Offline without the internet, and see what it could generate? That would be kinda cool :)
