    The metal rods supporting each pedal arm run through plastic and also each time you change a spring you have to calibrate the brakes, i'm not sure you mentioned that. Most pedal plates won't accommodate the hole pattern on the pedal base so drilling is required, TM do have a metal adaptor to mount the pedals but that's sold separately,

    This makes thrustmaster competitive against Fanatec in a long time. High end TM competes pretty decently against entry level fanatec now.
    Ts-pc racer (€550) + tclm pedals (200)
    Against csl elite bundle (€570) + loadcell kit (€140). Still would go for the fanatec set but it isnt a bad choice buying the TM set.

    • @stoffl219
      @stoffl219 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dont forget that the tclm uses magnetic sensors on all three pedals, the fanatec csl elite pedals only use them on the brake (if you buy the loadcell kit)

    • @issen2291
      @issen2291 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stoffl219 True, but the CSL Elite pedals are more configurable (you can remove a pedal or adjust the positioning) and the CSL wheelbase is compatible with the significantly higher quality and more diverse Fanatec rims (and a WAY better Quick Release system).
      I currently own a t300rs GT Edition because as a standalone package it's INSANE value, but if I wanted something higher end I'd definitely go for Fanatec.

      Marko Favre then I wouldn't worry about it, you can perform just fine with a DFGT! Depends on your motivation to "upgrade". I'd definitely wait until there are comparison reviews. My friend races real cars as well as sim and he uses G25 pedals witch a mod. He says that's close enough, anything more isn't adding value. So if you're on a budget then I'd be tempted to get a used G25 or G27 if you find a good deal. Decent pedals and wheel that's an upgrade from DFGT and something the fastest simmers in the world use.

    Can the clutch be removed and the brake placed into that position? I have zero interest in a clutch pedal. The gas and brake right next to each other squeezes the boys!!!
    For my T500, I have a pedal mod from GTPlanet that spans the brake and clutch. Well, what was the clutch is now the gas. It’s got a squeak. I’m looking at these for $230 bucks and hoping they’ll help with braking accuracy.
    I went from a DFP, G25, Fanatec Carrera GT3rs v2 with the ClubSport Pedals. The Fanatec killed the G25! Then the T500rs came out and that wheel ruled them all! For a little while anyways lol.
    I received my Conical Rubber Brake Mod from Thrustmaster last week. It’s taking getting used to it. It’s impossible to adjust the height once it’s mounted to a rig.

    It's not just a plastic casing. The rods going through the pedals are connected to plastic. Barry from SRG shows a full breakdown in his video. He found some flex while driving and thinks it's because of that plastic. I also think it will be worse when you have a rig where the pedals hang over the end, which I think Barry has. If you have one like he has here, it probably won't be a problem. Honestly, I don't think it will matter for 90% of us anyway, be he thought it was the weakest part of the build quality.
