When I was a little boy I read a Disney comics story heavily inspired by your epic poem Kalevala by Elias Lönnrot and I have always wanted to read the source material. But, I'm afraid that the English translation will ruin the magic of it, and I don't see me learning Finnish anytime soon (or ever, to be honest). Is reading it in English worth it?

I have a family friend who is 99.99% Finnish and he can fall asleep to the heaviest Finnish metal. I find it insane that he can because it is pretty harsh compared to ASMR 😂 it seems the more northern you get, the harsher the metal (screaming and whatnot)
I wonder if the tiny black and white bird is the wagtail; they're known for being incredibly brave (it's a territorial and mating ritual) and will come close to any threat regardless of size, because they're remarkably fast little birds and can get airborne in the blink of an eye and be gone.
