thats totally a new dresser and you can tell the way the inside of the drawers and the little mechanisms that make the drawers slide are really clean, new and working!

Now this project is brilliant and you made it so easy to follow great job and now you have me making a list of stuff to get and I will be doing my units thank you for sharing x
Ken, are you sure you dont need to varnish the paper? If you leave it as is, over time it will scratch, tear and peel off...This just looks like an incomplete job.

They say this can be done on any dresser. Well it can't. They chose a dresser with perfectly flat drawer fronts. If the drawer fronts are rounded at the sides or if there is any trim/molding or anything other than flat, it will not work.

This video was before the other video, but they were acting like this guy never showed them how to do this. Unless the difference is that this was a dresser, and the other video was a file cabinet. Anyway, same technique.
That is NOT how you cut the wallpaper. You use a small sanding block and rub the paper on the edge edge of the drawer in a downward motion. That way you make sure it adhered all the way to the last mm of that edge. Sorry man, using your technique that paper will start pilling off at the edge and corners, before you know it.
That old dresser looks like a new dresser with a terrible paint job, lol :D A real old dresser would likely have surface imperfections and stickers that need removing...ah, well.
Monika Chand As soon as I saw the before picture, I knew it wasn't "found" like that. Obviously it was painted on purpose to look like crap so they could "re-finish" it. LOL

it would work, you just modify slightly and paint the moulded area and then be a bit more precise with your cutting to fit the flat part

Do anyone know if you could put a shellac or polyacrylic over the front of the paper to protect it?
It should be washable paper so no need for poly over it. Shellac would probably destroy the paper, IMHO.
