He really loved his country
A Real Good decent honorable man.
agreed
Listen to this speech! A man who believed in our democracy. I disagreed with him on most subjects (esp Palin & her attack stance) but he was someone I admired for his military service & for his integrity. I miss his civility now.
Coming from Democrats who shouted Russia for 5 years 😂 the irony is hilarious
i agree with you
😢😢😢 how I miss this true republican!!! His speech is the best!!! What a man! I miss him!!
Rest in power!!!
I’m a Muslim from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and i respected this
RIP SENATOR JOHN McCAIN
A Decent honorable man 🫡🫡🫡🙏🙏🙏👍👋
John McCain was a guest on Jay Leno‘s tonight show (for my friends across the ocean… This is a very very very very popular show at the time… A late night talk show) as the first guest when the show resumed filming after 911… And as he was talking about or rather about to talk about the terrorist… He went into this long patriotic rant about How we are all a part of the same family/country and that he very strongly warned against any Islam a phobia before he even started talking about the realities of the group who is behind the attacks… And at that time I very much deeply appreciated and was grateful for someone who I didn’t agree with a lot of political issues… To still make a stand that the people behind the attacks do not represent the peaceful religion
McCain was a class act.
John McCain is sorely missed - His consolation speech is pure class.
As a Democrat, John McCain is one of the most patriotic Americans I’ve ever seen. He would be so ashamed of his party if he was still alive! RIP Senator 🇺🇸
John McCain was a good man and a great American statesman
When McCain passed away so did the The Morality Truthfulness of GOP.
One day the Democratic party will actually demonstrate morality truthfulness. We've been waiting a long time, and it looks like we'll have to wait a long time more.
Would have made a solid president 🫡
I think his running mate brought him down.
@@Lilo-A 100%. That Palin pick was a big time gamble that failed miserably.
@@Lilo-ABush brought him down mainly. After 8 years of W, the country wanted him and anyone like him out. It didn't matter who the (R) was or the (D) was, the (R) was gonna lose and lose big. Also didn't help that McCain sided with Bush 95% of the time. He was done from the start.
John McCain, an Officer and a Gentleman, a distinguished US Senator a great presidential contender. He adorned the Republican Pary and American politics; we will not soon see his like again.
The last true Republican.
🇺🇲John Mccain🇺🇲: Put simply embodied virtue, patriotism and sacrifice.
Yeah that's hard, but dignified, inspiring, and responsible as it gets 👍. Those are words from the heart, probably outlined but not a written speech
I am from AZ. I didn't vote for him or agree with his politics, but damn did I respect him. He spoke at my school and was so intelligent and genuine. Like if he had won, I honestly wouldn't have been disappointed. He genuinely cared and was a hero. One of the few things I'm proud of az for lol.
Trump talked crap about my boy. Can't believe anyone from az could vote for that dumpster fire of a person.
If anyone wants to know, “what’s wrong with American politics?” I say watch this… a true American patriot actually lead his party thru a tough time. This is actually what America 1st looks like.
A man of honour, a true Christian. Thank God for giving us such people.
I miss John McCain, an honest intelligence we shall not see anytime soon if ever again.
McCain was the only Republican I ever considered voting for. Where are these Republicans? Are they voting in 2023? How can they be okay with their party today?
Go ahead and tell us what is better under Joe Biden.
I'm one of these Republicans, and the idea that someone like Trump can call themselves a Republican spits on the grave of not only every Republican president, but also every American who believes in real American values of equality and liberty established by our ever adapting Constitution
If only Trump was this gracious when he lost the 2020 election.
McCain would have made a fine president. Sarah being on the ticket may not have helped with votes.
Senator John McCain had integrity. Much respect 🇿🇦❤️🇺🇸
Try to imagine Trump even understanding these words. Let alone uttering them. 😢
When he died the Republican party died with him. This is when our country had class and didn't sit destructed by our indifferences but rather united over our similarities. Trump came in and the party is now a major MESS.
The Republican Party did not deserve this man.
McCain was a class act!
Trump should've taken notes. This is how you act presidental. Not saying I like him or his policies, but damn did he know how to act in a respectful manner and respect democracy as well.
Trump doesn't care because he has other ideas.
Sarah Palin paved the way for Trump
This is the Republican party I was once proud of.
Good job CBS! Upload these concession speeches, for THEM to realize how MAGA Republicans are wrong in so many ways.
Go ahead and tell us what's better under Joe Biden.
Wrong perception about American industries
His only mistake was choosing Palin.
Which was a big mistake.
To think Palin had the audacity to suggest she give a speech. Palin was MAGA Patient Zero.
The last republican I ever voted for
Him picking Sarah palin as VP is what blew it for him
What was wrong with sarah? (I'm curious)
Im same page with John. I dont like Trump at all.
true american hero!
R i p
Remember when Republicans lost with dignity?
True Republican!
I am looking forward to former President Trump giving such a heartfelt conciliatory speech when Vice President Harris wins this November,
Haha, good one. He'll never do it.
The best of a party now destroyed by Trump
ФБР работали с начала 90 х годов по созданию из земли роботов.
I didn't vote for John McCain or mitt Romney I was waiting on Donald Trump the best President we ever had president Trump is a class act John McCain was weak president Trump is my hero I didn't vote in 2008 didn't vote in 2012 1 John McCain and mitt Romney in my book were worthless I love my president Trump John McCain was a loser I like winners like President Trump
