      Thanks, it's an easy repair. Hoping my son can do it himself next time. Nice! I had a CR 125 that was alike. I'm old but feeling better these days then I was. Nothing better than having a bike growing up. Thanks, I'll be checking your's as well. Have an awesome day!

    I replaced all my bolts with grade 8 and lock nuts. Plus found rubber molded aluminum washers to fasten motor mount to stop engine vibrating loose

    The other issue with these is the muffler falling off where the clamp is. I have the 2021 Apollo x19. I welded the muffler on where the clamp goes and you are able to fit the completed pipe into place as a full piece. Problem solved.

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, didn't have that problem but changed the muffler because we didn't think it would pass spark arrester test where we were going. There seems to be a lot of available parts at least. I think the Apollo is a good choice for the money.

    Hello, Can I ask you what’s the green electrical tape from the engine to somewhere up, cause it confused me after I didn’t find the right spot and I tried everything my bike didn’t start apollo rfz 200. And every mechanic said everything is okay with the engine and the bike

    how do you keep these damn pipes from blasting the muffler off when riding done lost two mufflers now

    • @popup1959

      Never had that problem. Guessing it's not on there tight enough.

      @@popup1959couldnt be from being loose, replaced clamp bolt with grade 8 course thread bolt and nut and tightened it down till the graphite seal just began extruding out... tight enough i couldnt get it to budge ... right now i got it set up like dumb but its holding together . i cut the top and bottom off a tall boy can and rolled to the diameter of the pipe at the joint. then got a couple worm gear clamps to clamp it down one of each end then also had a hitemp silicone grommet for a spigot mount carb and just put that in the center of the flared end where the pipes meet and put two worm gear clamps on that aswell and got em tite tite with the impact gun ... beeen three days hasnt come off yet

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If that doesn't do it, nothing will! Sounds like your pipe was out of tolerance on the measurement when made. Hence, you having to fill the void with the tall boy can. Being made in China means "send it" even when measurements are beyond tolerance.
      Nice fix. Ride safe.

      @@popup1959yeah man but for it to happen with two exhaust systems from different sellers but same thing... and yea the old "poor mans tiger patch" you just wrap the exhaust with an ol soda can of choosing and either use clamps to hold it there or some jb weld works too... works best if you wrap the pipe with the can then wrap with AC HVAC tape (shiny stuff) a few times then rewrap the whole thing with 2" wide exhuast heat wrap

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You went through some stuff to get it to stay on, but it shouldn't come off now! I probably would've just drilled a small hole through both and attached with a self-tapping screw. Enjoy the ride bud!

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the exhaust that came on it. I just welded it where it broke and put it back on. Changed the muffler since then. You can get parts from Amazon. Thanks.

    Where do you buy your parts?

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazon so far. Local auto parts store for spark plugs. Depending on what needs to be replaced, Amazon has quite a few. It's been a good bike so far but eventually I expect that "can't get it" part will show up. It's on it's 3rd year so for the price...

    • @popup1959
      @popup1959  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s pretty much a straight pipe. No baffle at all. Just the way Bill likes it. I brought it to someone to get it welded. Spent so much there on my trucks that he did it for free. 🍺
