tom is a judge on the voice uk and lonnie's son peter auditioned.tom was the only judge that turned.after chatting peter and tom did a spontanious duet of this song which you can watch on here as the voice has a youtube channel.both lonnie and tom's wife had passed so you can see emotion in tom's eyes.and see he still has his voice.he also still releases albums and tours.

His first hit record in around 1965 is probably best known to American audiences at least if you say to them ‘Carlton’s dance’ because the character Carlton in Fresh Prince Of Bel Air dances to Tom’s first hit record It’s Not Unusual! Here in 2023 Tom is now 82 and is just about to start touring in his home nation, the UK 🇬🇧😊

When he sang this he had already been married to his high school sweetheart for 10 years, with 2 kids. They married when they were 16, and lasted almost 60 years together when she died of cancer about 6 years ago. She must've been a Saint, or didn't believe the rumours, but he had thousands of one-night-stands, and dozens of longer affairs throughout their marriage with other famous people, like Dionne Warwick and Mary Wilson (The Supremes). And rumoured with Barbra Streisand and Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek). He even has illegitimate children. It is said that he loved all of his mistresses, but worshipped his wife still, and was devastated when she died. He's been known to tear up when she is mentioned. Obviously a very emotional man. He's about 84 now, and still sings and does concerts, and can still belt it out. A God-given voice, and sex-appeal! He was also a judge on one of those TV music shows until recently even.
