Tbh heisei godzilla is very very powerful especially his invincible atomic abilities like the red spiral ray or infinite heat ray.
But when talking about a brawl fight i think that legendary godzilla has the advantage. You could argue that heisei can physically fight and yes i agree. But the way he fights in a brawl is like a combo and why is it a combo?
Atomic abilities + limited fighting skills
This is the reason why he wins and plus he also has his power-ups. Some of you might argue "Heisei doesn't need power-ups to win and if well if he doesn't need it explain how fire rodan sacrifices himself to make godzilla recover as it is a akin or similar to how mothra dies for godzilla in kotm.
Again, atomic abilities as well as power definite goes to heisei but strength and fighting skills goes to Mv godzilla
Heisei used to lift a 150,000 tons super mecha-g and absolutely manhandled destoroyah with his burning form. Although i agree with that but just like what i said he strong but not as physically stronger to Mv godzilla (brawl fight only).
If the battle would just will just follow of focus more onto Normal Atomic Breath and brawl fight. I'd say legendary godzilla got this even with no to little power-ups. But if this is more of a power-up battle heisei would have the edge BUT we dont yet fully necessarily know the absolute potential of legendary godzilla in terms of power.
One might argue heisei uses a meltdown pulse to obliterate earth and his infinite or red spiral ray can burn and annihilate evrything. Again, we dont exactly know what is the other powers that mv godzilla has not yet been unlocked.
I am not a heisei nor a legendary fanboy. I am just saying all of this as a fact that i've observe from both g-mans......

平成單單背鰭發光到吐放放射熱線僅需要1.2秒的時間 這還只是通常的熱線使用 而不是發射一次持續的對目標持續的攻擊
而傳奇不管是什麼一般的功率輸出的熱線還是最大功率熱線 背鰭發光到吐放起碼必須要5秒的時間
就雙方都採用熱線交戰情況 傳奇背鰭發光至吐出熱線的時間差距 足足吃上至少三發的熱線
甚至平成還沒有用上能量爪擊與能量噬咬這些攻擊手段 以及對付91王者基多拉的怪力摔擊
基本上被平成的雙手抓住的對手鮮少有好下場 這點92的摩斯拉與巴特拉是很有體會 尤其是巴特拉 他與平成在海底的鬥毆被抓住就被痛摔了一頓 並且把海床砸裂 引起海底火山噴發
更別說平成在能量式的熱線抵禦能力上可以說是最誇張的 89年就承受住了自己熱線反射回去的一萬倍光束
93年更是扛下93MG的等離子榴砲多倍的增幅的攻擊多次 也僅僅只是被擊倒而已
甚至是第二次與93MG對戰承受住火力全開的MG逼迫至可以近身戰鬥幾乎差點拆掉對手（要不是戰機到騷擾分散注意力 平成當下幾乎讓93MG變成廢鐵)
單單在熱線交戰就已經讓傳奇不具備優勢了 更別說平成那些近身戰的攻擊技巧 一但被平成抓住尾巴 傳奇會嚐到91王者基多拉一樣甚至更劇烈的摔擊 還沒有提能量爪擊能量噬咬這些手段 而能量爪擊更是在與福岡城裡與太空哥吉拉交戰時的利爪搏鬥時 當下學會太空哥吉拉的能量爪擊
並且 平成有著在吃過一次苦頭後就會馬上調整應敵策略 89第一回合對上植物怪獸被觸手侵擾 第二回在抗核能細菌生效且處於虛弱的狀態下還是迅速熱線清掃至少超過十五根的觸手或是樹根 那些帶著嘴的觸手不僅會噬咬 更會噴出能瞬間融化金屬與鑽石的高腐蝕性的樹汁 威力高的連平成都會感受到劇痛的噴射熱線 而帶著樹汁的樹根甚至能貫穿平成的左部肩膀與左手在虛弱的狀態下硬是打成了平手（對手失去戰鬥能力 平成失去戰意）
94被對手的能量屏障的反彈自己的熱線難以還擊 甚至故意承受太空的熱線攻擊 用倒下的假動作的間隙成功的用熱線還擊了回去
在福岡城的水晶領域裡面被水晶導彈攻擊了數波後 就馬上用熱線摧毀水晶 這些針對敵人特點的戰鬥應對 可不是傳奇能相比的 還沒提能量吸收與赤色熱線
很多人都忘記一個事實 那就是傳奇保有自己的特點的同時 也致敬了太多平成的技能 尤其是熱核模式還有核能量脈衝（但是對於平成來說 那種只是能量滿溢的狀態也僅僅是超載而已 平成的燃燒模式是真正在燃燒自己的生命 那是身體的反應爐失調無法冷卻的危機狀態 屬於不可阻止走向毀滅的狀態 而燃燒的平成的赤色的熱線威力甚至比94的威力更龐大（略低於93的120萬度的溫度 但是功率上強於94 溫度推測可能是100萬度左右）
作者已經讓傳奇一場艱難的戰鬥後才敗在前輩的手裡已經很給傳奇顏面了 不然以東寶的設定 平成單單用熱線壓制 足底讓傳奇完全沒有還擊的餘地 別忘了 兩邊在熱線的開火速率上差了至少三倍

It can beam spam in gvk just like heisei, and perhaps have a stronger full charged atomic breath. Heisei Godzilla will probably have a hard time, at least harder than shown in this video, fighting legendary Godzilla.

Heisei wins in high/extreme difficulty due to his ranged attack abilities and his superior regeneration/durability, but he’ll suffer a lot in this battle form legendary Godzilla’s brutal close range combat style and his better close range skills.
And if we’re bringing in burning mode and thermo mode, legendary Godzilla will eventually win because heisei will eventually die from his own energy while he’s gonna be more durable and heals faster in thermo mode.

別拿體型當作優勢 看看94的太空 95的毀滅者 這兩個敵人的重量與體型那個不比平成更高更大更重 結果呢？還不是打的有來有回 甚至95的對手在常態的情況下可以說是任何真人版電影的所有哥吉拉天生的剋星 畢竟使用的可是殺掉初代54同源的氧氣破壞者 95的對手甚至被攻擊上打到吐血 自己解體避免被消滅
其次在能量式的熱線防禦 傳奇單單被傳奇MG的熱線給傷的嚴重灼傷 畫面上甚至幾乎見紅發熱的模樣
但是平成有多次承受比自己熱線威力更高的能量攻擊 不管是太空還是95的毀滅者 或是91王者基多拉的粉碎物理分子鏈的光束 其中89是直接成受超級X2的鑽石鏡自己熱線威力的反射一萬倍攻擊 更別說95直接承受住了無視物理性質防禦的毀滅者的光束刃的斬擊兩次 第二刀更是幾乎把平成的身體給切開！

燃燒與熱核 我必須說那是雙死的局面 而燃燒的平成的熱線是絕對比傳奇的MG的質子尖嘯的威力更大 傳奇單單全功率的打穿地殼的熱線威力都無法不佔據優勢 何況是平成的燃燒熱線？ 我前面說過 平成在能量的攻擊上的防護是非常駭人的 熱核的三道核脈衝的溫度能比的上89平成熱線的十萬度反射一萬倍還要高？而且還不是大幅強化的89平成就抵禦住的攻擊 三波之後呢？把所有超載的能量釋放完 後面要如何面對抵禦了核脈衝攻擊後的平成？
熱核對燃燒 平成還是會獲得勝利 甚至更加毫無懸念的直接輾壓 尤其是直接用熱線戰鬥更快速 但是平成也會自我滅亡 燃燒是身體的冷卻調節失能 導致生物反應爐無法降溫的緣故 跟熱核這種吸收外部能量爆發出來的力量展現是完全不同 而且超載增壓的能量也有被消耗掉的情況 傳奇三次熱核核脈衝就恢復的正常的狀態了 但是燃燒不是
我承認傳奇在體型與速度上更具優勢
但是在各種能力屬性上 傳奇除了體型與速度的優勢 其餘的都遜色平成
而且真要論設定 平成面對人類的作出來的兵器的超科技除了傳奇的地心能量外 還有什麼能相提的？

平成強在於完整的設定與對應的表現 而對手都是遠強於平成的類型
戰鬥的場次與對手的質量對應的襯托平成的強大
不管是能反射平成熱線的93MG的等離子榴砲 還是94太空哥吉拉的能量屏障 反重力念力波 還是結晶導彈與日冕熱線 甚至是純粹剋星的氧氣破壞者光束與光刃斬擊！！
告訴我 傳奇有什麼稱的上駭人度壯舉？噴穿地殼嗎？那種表現只要任何一隻哥吉拉 都能達成 差別在於要用多少時間而已 而自然界的物質又有多少能承受住超過萬度的高溫的？
討論要看兩邊整體的表現 平成唯一敗北的場次是92 但是嚴格的來說 對手卻也失去巴特拉這個戰友 89是彼此無力打下去 一個失去戰鬥意念 一個被摧殘到無法戰鬥所以沒有分出勝負
94嚴格來說功勞必須一半給人類的機甲 但是沒有平成拆掉福岡塔斷能源供給 聯手的勝負依然不大 畢竟兩邊同時都有共識的相同敵人
95兩次對戰毀滅者 兩次都是依靠飛行與體型得到優勢 但是應對之後的平成還不是反將一軍 第一超直接讓對手吐血分體逃逸 第二場甚至放棄戰鬥逃跑飛走！
對手的能力與強大 襯托平成的強大 傳奇的世界觀有比89植物怪獸那樣死而再生的嗎？有比94太空 95毀滅者這種能力與實力還有熱線威力上強大的對手嗎
我說了 傳奇致敬平成太多了 甚至有平成技能能力與昭和的立場的致敬（保護地球 人類只是順便）
而熱核脈衝 能源吸收都是源自平成的能力的致敬 傳奇是贏不了這些技能真正的使用這能力的平成
扣掉特效拍攝的手法 比較兩邊能力與使用的技能差異 傳奇僅僅只有在體型跟速度的優勢 但是東寶官方雖然列出了平成的移動速度是80公里與100公里 但也只是移動而已 就跟人類一般步行的的程度 畢竟電影裡面我們沒有見過平成有衝刺的畫面
但不會慢就是
記住 傳奇是用特效CG作出來的 平成用的是皮套戲服 才有你認為的那種笨拙遲緩的感覺 擺脫皮套戲服的限制 平成的靈活與反應跟速度只會比電影的皮套還要誇張
不管怎麼說 傳奇是完全開創了用全特效CG的哥吉拉 我對傳奇影業的戰戰兢兢給予敬意 但是我必須說 傳奇哥吉拉電影的文戲 真的遭的不行 怪獸對決很精彩就是
至於98那個被十二發導彈殺死玩意 就別提了 當年我離開電影院在門口外 是一路罵髒話回家的 那部電影簡直羞辱等同日本國寶級別的哥吉拉 它要不是冠上哥吉拉 是不錯的娛樂性好電影 所以注定在喜好怪獸圈子內的愛好者被稱之為黑歷史！因為98嚴重的羞辱了哥吉拉的形像與代表的內涵與精神意義

Ok first, it's Heisei, second the reason why he was slow in the movies was due to the limitations and budget at the time. Toho admits he's faster, stronger, and more tactical than how he appears in the films.

而且是持續的多次摔擊並且拋丟 15萬噸的平成機器哥吉拉也是輕鬆的抓起來（第一次有點滑手沒有抓穩 第二次抓穩後就把對手幾乎橫著抓起來並且丟出去 後面尾巴的鞭擊甚至幾乎差點讓機器哥吉拉散成廢鐵 當時有明確的說出MG的機件連結部位損壞到了80% 也就是在多補幾下 MG就會被平成給拆掉了）
在92年跟巴特拉與深海的搏鬥 摔擊的威力甚至震裂了海床下的板塊
94對決太空哥吉拉也從對手身上用核能注入爪子進行爪擊（彼此互相爪擊 ）
95年甚至被腰斬下硬是用著超活性的自癒能力承受了對手的攻擊 並且在持續熱線下把毀滅者給開膛破肚 後面的兩下怪力爪擊讓對手不得分散成多數的幼體逃脫 第二回合對戰 甚至被臨死的平成五發熱線+一記核脈衝 就失去戰鬥意志逃逸 同時也是第一個擁有克制哥吉拉能力的對手反而被克制的對象戰鬥的失去戰意的一個
而且19致敬平成的燃燒 還有核脈衝能力 是不爭的事實 作為被致敬的前輩 沒有理由輸給傳奇 更別說 平成的對手的能力設定是因為被拍攝的手法還有皮套戲服限制 不然平成的敏捷度是很優秀的 這點可以在遊戲上的哥吉拉VS看出來
平成一點都不笨拙 相反著 遊戲中平成的敏捷程度才是符合設定的表現 至於熱線威力 還有反擊對手的體內放射 能源逆吸收 都是屬於平成開創出來的技能 也被後面的01的白眼哥吉拉 04的最終戰哥吉拉致敬（PS:04的戲服至少比平成的戲服減重了一半 所以能作出更靈活的動作 95的戲服連同發煙裝置 重達超過100公斤 還差點讓穿戴的演員窒息 而95前的戲服平均不含尾巴也有40公斤 這些演員在拍攝時有多辛苦 可以不想想像的）

I think that this is pretty accurate, heise would not take it seriously at first and let legendary atack to see his power level than heise would adjust his fight stile and power level to legendary once he fully studies legendary. Legendary is also very smart, it’s just that if he gets beaten badly he won’t be able to regenerate from it as well as heise does so heise will never take a sufficient amount of damage. Still tell me your thoughts down bellow I would love to here them.
I’m aware my opinion is stupid, but I think if legendary Godzilla stayed in close combat and was able to push heisei Godzilla down and MAYBE impale heisei goji with something then do the kiss of death. Either that, or after knocking down heisei Godzilla legendary Godzilla could try to gouge out his eyes, which I think would be fatal for heisei goji.

Heisei is a bit overly agile and fast compared to his movie counterpart, this is probably the only reason legendary Godzilla lost in a close range battle.
Heisei is indeed strong and more durable than legendary, but this level of agility is just something he totally can’t achieve.

This video is pretty good and accurate for the result. My only complaint is how Heisei somehow bested Legendary in combat. Legendary existed for 252 Million Years. So he is definitely Better at Combat and Battle Iq, he also is more experienced.
Heisei was also around for god knows how long as a Dinosaur that is, so he might have experience and battle iq aswell
