CONVERGING on BIEMH 2024 | Robotic Polishing & Natural Language Control (Bilbao Fair)

BIEMH 2024 held its 32nd edition from June 3 to 7 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The fair focuses on automation, machine tools, and robotics. The CONVERGING project participated through our partner’s booth TECNALIA in the event where we had the opportunity to showcase two project demonstrators resulting from the collaborative efforts within CONVERGING. The two main applications were presented are: automated polishing using a robot with real-time trajectory generation and a mobile manipulator, and natural language control (currently in Spanish) for robot assembly tasks. The video also highlights a training system using Extended Reality goggles for operator interaction with the robots.
