Was in London in 1982..was hardly 13 years old.. Had the opportunity to see cricket and mohtaram Imran Khan perform the most ⚡ energy packed entertainment.... In this video.. Cricket at its peak years.. Miss this energy packet cricket... it didn't get any better than this... Now I don't even want to see cricket.. not for a second... Pathetic cricket now

Imran khan caught robin Jackman lbw wen they had to make one run to avoid follow on. It changed the game. Vow.
    Great imran.

David Gower was the stand in captain for this game Bob Willis was injured during the easy run chase the clouds were dark Gower and Botham on occasion's were looking up at the clouds hoping it would rain Botham was time wasting getting through his overs slowly and we caught Gower on camera, we could lip read him clearly, he said "oh I wish it would rain" My dad a West Indian shouting at the telly saying something like "England can never lose graciously". Great memories I was only 10 and I've loved cricket ever since.

Your dad was spot on and sadly nothing has changed (look at the Bairstow dismissal in the 2nd ashes test, nothing wrong with it and if England had done that, no one would complain) . My father always supported Pakistan but did support England against other countries. However even he agreed with your dad (my dad got a lot of satisfaction over England getting Blackwashed by the West Indies in 1984).
I think in those days Eng saw it as beneath them to lose to former colonies. They bitched and moaned when the Windies beat them in the 1976 series. They also did this with Pakistan (the 3rd test in 1982 was very close and Pak would have won had the home umpires not been bias).
Even the T20 world cup final in 2016 when the WI beat Eng, they were still ungracious attacking Marlon Samuels.

@@jahno7154 Lol. I casually support England (born and raised in Eng) but not passionately. Ditto Pakistan but less so since the match fixing.
The Eng media's arrogance in footie and cricket annoys me.
I prefer watching a good game these days.

He is arrested and thrown behind the bars because of his crimes against Pakistan, corruption that he did to plunder Bait-ul-mal and the leakage of the secret documents to harm the interests of Pakistan and the Haram Nikah and rape that the characterless couple were having before the marriage.

While closely fought Pakistan should have won the last test and series were it not for some dubious umpiring (Eng won the 3rd test by 2 or 3 wickets but survived a couple of caught behinds and confident lbw's were it not for bias umpiring)
