A collector of china would *of course* be delighted to part with a plate wanted by another collector! 😀 Someone's tongue was very firmly in her cheek when writing that. It's that kind of fanaticism that drove the plots of several P.G. Wodehouse books.

As somewhat of a sucker for pretty china, and rather fond of Crown Derby, I sympathise with Miss Pym! She's such a likeable and relatable character, there should be more stories about her. Sixty years old is "elderly", though? Really?

I can't afford to be a pateron, but I share your videos with many others. I know that they watch because soon I see them sharing your videos or recommending your channel in the comment section. There does seem to be an AI that is imitating your voice. I've heard it on the short stories by Somerset Maugham on Neuralsurfer's channel. We can all tell that it's AI, and those who know your channel say, in the comment section, that it sounds like you. I have no idea if that should be a cause of concern for you or not. Maybe not, it probably gets people checking out your name because they see it in the comment section often. Please do more of the Man in the Corner short stories.

I have to comment on how much i enjoyed that story, really good and kinda cozy, also the author is very beautiful. Im actually surprised in that so many of these Victorian ghost stories were written by women, a lot of these stories im familiar with, and its interesting finding out that so many have come from amazing female writers, unfortunately there seems to be a trend present day that only women can write good female characters, and vice versa. Which is ridiculous.
Am I the only one who think it was just a tad disrespectful of Mrs. Pim to not keep the plate? I mean the woman gave it to her for being nice, all she had to do was come back from time to time and chat for a bit and that's harmless enough.
She asked the owner for the plate, and it was given to her - certainly harmless, even if she'd never managed a second visit. Although, I rather suspect that she's one of the few people that could have gotten on well with the ghost.
Well giving the set back wouldn't accomplish much since it will all be auctioned off shortly but I do see where your heart is on it and can relate. Yeah I just feel like she should've kept it and not been such a sissy about it. I mean she literally asked to see a ghost then asked it for a plate and be darned if she didn't get both!
