    I was. Ford Guy a very long time ago also Rebuilt that truck and it was painful and $$$$. Two years later I bought my first square body and never looked back. Parts are cheap and all over the place. I just got a 3+3 about a year ago for the same reason you did. People in the front dogs in the back. Love this truck. You found a great truck. One thing I've always done is replaced the door latch pin with ones which has plastic on the pin. No more slamming the door to close. Other square body owners are amazed by how easy they close now.

      I have never really cared about brands as long as it sparks my interest. I have always thought classic crew cabs are really cool. Chevrolet didn’t try to reinvent the wheel and part interchangeability is better (a lot better than ford). Throw a video up of your 3+3. Thanks

      I've had a couple cool fords. The 84 I couldn't get rid of fast enough. Too clean and too many fuel issues🤦‍♂️. The 1970 Ford crew cab is the only vehicle I regret selling. Both of those trucks are on my channel. I don't care what make it is as long as it's cool!! appreciate the kind words and take care

    Beautiful truck, the rear is a GM 14 bolt not a Dana 60, however the front is a Dana 60. My 3+3 has dealer installed A/C not factory A/C which means all of the A/C components are inside the cab behind the glove box in the dash. The absolute only thing that is under the hood is the pump obviously which runs off the V belt. I love that set-up cause the engine compartment is not cluttered with A/C stuff, you can still get that set-up, I believe a few aftermarket company’s still offer them.

    • @zmurray9499
      @zmurray9499  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, just had the 14 bolt rebuilt a few weeks ago. Was also looking at the kit vintage air sells. It's a fairly big job but very doable. The kit also deletes the engine compartment portion of the heater box etc. A lot more compact and efficient. This will be my next project. Besides 7 mpg not having air-conditioning is the only thing I don't like about the truck. And thanks

      I have always loved the crew cabs. I needed to buy one before they got out of reach moneywise. I have a quick video of an old orange Ford crew cab. That is the only vehicle I have regretted selling. Was offered quite a bit of money for it and saw the dollar signs. I was also tired of manual steering, manual transmission, manual brakes…. Wish I had that simplicity back.
