Top class video @AdamsClayPigeonGuide really thorough and covers all shot variables with excellent examples. Really well done ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice follow up video would be your pre shot routine and basic setup ie: how you establish your view point, hold and break points. Great work!!!
@mharvey7788 Funny you should say that, it's on the way soon but keep the suggestions coming. Thank you for your support, it really is appreciated. Oh and the other video is partly done, just waiting for a suitable day for other half to be possible.
Congratulations, excellent video. I find the difficulty is in choosing the most suitable method when a launch allows you to use more than one. Any advice?
@alessandropasian2561 Thank you and that's a really good question. I tend to choose the method based on how much lead is required and the speed of the target. If a lot of lead is required and you have enough time to connect with it, then pull away is my preferred choice. I use swing through for fast targets or those that don't need much lead. Maintained lead is now my least used option but still use occasionally. Especially on a simo pair when i need to shoot the first one quickly. In the video, there is the example where I shoot the simo pair swing through, maintained might have been possible on the first shot.
@mixalisxenofontos2679 In all honestly, I only shoot clays so I'm definitely not in the position, to give advice on live quarry. However, as a general rule, I use swing through where possible, on the faster targets or those requiring less lead. Then pull away, on slower targets or those requiring more lead. Maintained also has its place but I feel it gives the least connection with the targets. Therefore, resulting in the most likely to be off line using.
@bethtp1 Yes unfortunately, the shotkam is deceptive, the zoom alters the true view. It is always calibrated as best I can, obviously calibrated at a certain distance, if you shoot at a different distance, then it is like a zeroed scope. Only accurate at a certain distance.. Like I said in the video, the barrel view is always high as well. When shooting at distance, Shotkam never gives a true representation. It should never be taken as perfect. It makes tiny things seem a lot bigger too. The point of this video, was to show the movement in relation to the clay. However, I have got an upcoming video, that your comment has been noted for, as it would be very important to show it accurately. Thank you
@christopherhindle1174 Yes it is but there are times when it definitely works. It is my go to on overhead targets. It can be good for very slow targets, where there is a good chance you may go too far in front, such as a slow rabbit.

Thank you for this video!!For perdridge hunting situations where fast shots required which method do you suggest?

@@AdamsClayShootingGuide Thank you so much for your help!!
looks like shot cam is pointing high shot fired with the cross above a dropping clay that would normally be a miss all else good above

Diminishing lead seems to be against all the basic principles of leading the target and moving away or with it, to achieve a hit?

Do not need music crap
I think it sounds better than just the boing of the shotkam.
