Hi, nice work, if I may ask, at 0:07 and at 0:39 The character bends lika a piece of paper and at 0:39 the circle shape also sort of bends in a nice way, how do you do that?
Hi, I was wondering where and how you gather and compile your data for your infographics. Do you find a source and enter the data into a spreadsheet or something individually? Or is there some sort of automatic import function for large amounts of data? Seems like it could take many hours just to organize and obtain relevant data from a single source. Thanks!
Hi Jake, it all depends on the topic. Academic papers for instance are a great source for well researched data. There is no automatic import, you have to illustrate & animated each scene individually. Finding the data is definitely a challenge and may take some time. In the end you'll have to work with what you get Hope that helps. Best Kristina
Hi. Animate CC is much more a web animation tool to create simple ad-like animations that can easily be embedded into a website, HTML5, webfont integration etc... After Effects on the other side is a full motion graphic application with rich tools, plugins, effects etc that is primary used to render mainly video content. What do you mean with weight of the end movie?
Hi all, Does anybody knows what software can I use for doing my animated infographics videos? How can I keep the quality of their images in the video after the conversion of the file to video?
Hi, you can use Adobe After Effects and Illustartor. Illustrator for the graphics and then AE to animate it. If you create a video in 1080p, all your graphics need to fit that size otherwise it will be blurry! The best option is to create all you stuff in Illustrator and then import those graphics into AE as vector files (not images like jpg or png). Then you turn on the vectorize layer button in After Effects and all should be in HD!
Dear Rightcolours, I would like to do learn how to do this graphics. Do you think it's possible to do this in Motion 5? I am learning this program by myself, and I want to do a course to go more deep. Do you think it's possible? I'm a graphic designer and webdesigner, and working with illustratos it's fine for me. I just wnat your advice if I can do the same in motion, because I prefer motion then After Effects. Thank you!!! Ângela Stein
Hi Angela, unfortunately I have no experience with Motion. Having used Aperture, Final Cut & other Apple apps, I can say that these are great pieces of software that I would also recommend to use in a professional space. Nevertheless, Adobe is kind of the industry standard and has a wider product range. We have always worked with Adobe software and that's actually what I would recommend anyone. If you really want to go deep in motion graphics, you will benefit more from AfterEffects in the long term... Best wishes Alex
Rightcolours Hi Alex, Thank you for answering me. So I think that After Effects will be a better option for me to go deep and learn. =] I was looking in your website, and it's very inspiring work. Are you located in Germany? I am from Brazil and I see that in Germany there are a lot of good designers! In Europe in general also. People are very connected with aesthetics there. Thanks!
Hi Angela, thanks for the kind words! yes we are located in Frankfurt/Germany. I thought initially that you are also located somewhere in a German speaking country given your name... Best, Alex
Rightcolours Ah, hehe no. But my family came from Germany loooong time ago. Still there are a lot of cities in south of Brazil where people only speak german. One day I hope to meet this beautiful country. =]
+Rightcolours Wow this is so polished and great. Im making a informative video about Haiti and my teacher said we should use animated info graphics. Is this entire video made purely on Adobe's Illustrator and After Effects? Could I use animated info graphics and my own footage in the one video using these programs? Thanks!
Sherief Elhelow Hi, just watch out for some tutorials on how to use Adobe After Effects. Start with some basic stuff and then you can advance to the more complex animations.

Hi, many thanks!!! so far we did not have the time to make some tutorials although we would love to. let's see maybe in the future. Best wishes Kristina
Hi Mikaela, many thanks for your nice words. I'll hope we find some time in the future and release some tutorials. In the meantime you can watch some tutorials on motion graphics and how to use After Effects to create such effects. Best, Alex
Any infographic software that produces the same quality as yours but doesn't require a monthly charge? I would like to pay a one time price on the software. Please assist, thank you.
+audacityknight As far as I know, there is no infographic software to create such animations. You can use a vector design app to create the designs and then use an animation tool to bring it to life.
+Rightcolours Ok, thank you for the prompt response. Any software other than the monthly charges that could create the same quality of animations? I just want to pay a one time price on the software rather than having to pay monthly for it.
Can't really say how long since it was just a side project over a few weeks a few years ago. It would probably take just a few days to recreate it. Best Alex
Hi, many thanks. No scripts or plug-ins have been used. If I remember it correctly, all has been done with expressions to simplify keyframing. Best, Alex

Hi, try to find some tutorials that teach you how to animate with Adobe After Effects and how to use Illustrator to design any object you want to use in the video.
Hi, by default this video is shown in only 360p to accommodate users with lower bandwidth. You can change that to 720p HD in the lower right corner. It should be sharp & clear then. Alex
Hi Matt, ff course it depends on the type of source you have, but given the fact that there are so many ways pure data can mislead you... you better make sure that you are on the right track before you publish your work!
Amazing, i would love to learn how to make an infographic video, but i have no graphic knowledge... there may be somebody interested to make one for me?
No matter how mundane the data, animated infographics can make them entertaining and interesting to watch, just like this one! Thanks for uploading!
This is a very nice piece of work. Unfortunately, the title is misleading, but still very informative. Great job!
"here is no other software in the world that can do what this software can do for you" lol

micro movies
anything that is not made by hand is not that good. I suggest everyone to start with sony vegas, and then after effects.
Curious, why after effects and not flash (animate cc)??
And what was the weight of the end movie?

you spelt 'bear' wrong. In this case, it's 'bear' in mind, not 'bare' in mind. It's a homophone and many people often get it wrong.
