The building may be all that, but not the way Emirate Airline use it. Arrive A380 from Birmingham UK at the newest terminal to transit to Vietnam. At the business class lounge told I must go to the other end of the huge terminal complex by train. This lounge is in great need of a make over and is very crowded, food is snapped off the staffs trays as they try to lay it out. When flight is called found we now had to be bussed to the aircraft, had a wonderful tour of the airport right back to where I disembarked the A380. Where we boarded the B777 by staircase, wow havn't done that for years, the last times were with Air Asia and EasyJet the cut price airlines.
This is number ONE example convenient Airport in the world.I experienced to use that smart gate process.I feel good,very fast,and secured in this Airport.Thank you to all staff,employees,and this goverment for hospitable,and very accomodating to assist all passengers.🙏👍😊😊😊
Great achievement, I've been using smart gates all ways. Dubai airport is the best in the world. Hi tech, customer service support is high priority to all passengers. In terms of the expo 2020 I wish all the success with high volume of passengers arriving from around the globe. Appreciated I 😍 love dubai forever. Stay blessed.

Recently I been DxB and Sharjah Int, definitely its a couple of airports that you don’t have to worried about missing your flight or stuck getting screening. Well organized and convenience. No matter how busy it’s just like a fast lane.both airports immigration officers are also professional.
Erm. I think Singapore Changi Airport has already been using this technology for a while :) also a few western countries. But I guess this technology helps to eliminate the grumpy & rude immigration officers.
I think the equivalent of that in USA would be TSA pre-check. It's different than regular TSA pre-check since to have it you have to pay extra or be a US government employee. It would be nice for everyone though because it would make it faster for all.

Smart gate have an big issue .if the passenger a trolly bag sometimes not opening and says “two persons inside the gate” despite of if there is already two persons inside the gate process success . That’s so wired.

Why is everyone saying this is already available in your country? Mostly Europeans are saying that. The ones in EU and UK only works with EU passports (forget brexit for now) you cant have an American using the smart passport control in Germany for example as it needs someone to physically to check the right to visit or work in Germany. However, someone within EU wont have that issue. HOWEVER, this smart gate is different, you can register your passport online and your visa, someone checks it and sends your data to those smart gates (all passports from any country no matter what visa) someone checks your details before you even arrive at the airport.

This is not new at all, some parts of Europe, China and Singapore airport has been using this for a while already. Did this guy call Dubai the no 1 airport?? It's NOT the no 1 airport in the world.
It's similar to the machine that China uses, but last time when I went back to China in Feb 2019, it was only for Chinese citizens because the Customs need to check visas for foreigners.
This is already there in Europe, Australia and New Zealand from long time.
