I guess I am the moron who audited classes , talked with other students, and met my teacher to help figure my schedules and what I could take. I kind of figured the music theory credit hour wasn't the same as my advanced machine learning course
Not correct, 1 credit hour = 1hour of lecture and 2 hours practical/ lab classes. In total 1ch= 3 academic hours. There for 15 x 3 = 45 academic hours per week 45 × 15 = 675 ah per semester. 675 x 8 semesters = 5400 ah So for BS degree 5400 = 120 credits
Credit hours for me equate to 3 hours of work each week per credit hour not including lecture, that means 12 credit hours is 36 hours

I spend on average 7 hours doing my math assignments at home, 4 hours in lectures a week, math should be counted as double credit
