I do understand that you are reviewing this from the point of view of a positive reader. But you’re also stating a lot of opinions (society today is worse than in the past, when we have less homelessness, more workers rights, etc). I think a very biased review

What I dont understand is why should capitalist be condemned for making money? If we we're the ones making the dollar wouldn't we be entitled to that satisfaction? So what if I don't create the news genius idea, I shouldn't be upset when someone else does.
And that will always be the case. As long as there are humans, power will be sought. Even those which believe in communism. Capitalism is still the gem to drive human achievement. So deal with it, love it, accept it.
Its not a “as long as there are humans” its a “as long as there is power, power will be sought” and capitalism is a way to make people think that seeking power is in human nature when in reality, its not. Capitalism isn’t a gem to forward all humans. It only benefits those who can afford it and leaves the rest behind. Why should those who are left behind accept and love this system?
Life is a game in every aspect, and not just money wise. We all look for some kind of appreciation, that's why many people try to get a diploma, or a medal, or a reward. When we leave a comment it's because we think we are important too, and the more likes our comment gets the better we feel. So, there's nothing wrong with being appreciated at something.
You are sadly mistaken on one basic point- Capitalism works for one main reason- motivation. Once you remove motivation to increase wealth and comfort production takes a nose dive- "They pretend to pay us and we pretend to work". There is a certain % of people in a society who simply cannot work. It is the producers responsibility to provide for them while attempting to help them to get on a productive path. Wevare failing in this area. Sadly, at least 50% of people who live on the streets want to. They do not want to have to play by the rules. Those Inna capitalistic society who choose to stay sober, get a good education then work hard always succeed and live a happy lifestyle. Four of my 5 children chose this path and are living the dream. The other one took the California socialist path and she is miserable. Show me any society that has survived. old luck.😊😊
Progressive income tax that are logical makes sense but they all go into “debt “ by buying real estate so they don’t have to pay taxes while their assets grow 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Even if it was the cause, it would be the answer to solve it. Capitalism is simply the private ownership of the means of production. It’s liberty and freedom. Communism is state control, and the abuse of personal liberty and individual rights. Since win, do unionists get to decide what is best for somebody else, and who gives them that authority to be a dictatorship? There is no evidence that communism works. I think this video does a decent enough job explaining the ideas of the book but a terrible job of explaining the problems of capitalism. If capitalist are greedy and people are poor, how are the workers supposed to spend more money to make the capitalist richer? With the current situation, do you think Jeff Bezos is happy food and gas prices are sky high? Do you think people are going to spend their last dollar on the latest Kindle or on groceries?

And the problem is the lack of enforcement, which has led to “corporatism”. Everyone that complains about capitalism is really frustrated with the political aspect, not the inherent economic structure.
