What cut of meat does that bacon come from? The US normally uses pork belly for bacon, and that didn't quite look like belly bacon to me. Still looked like a tasty sandwich!
If you're eating it on its own thicker cut bacon is better, if it's eaten accompanying other things in a sandwich i'd say the thin crispy bacon is better.

Did you miss the part about how much of the stuff you have to eat for it to actually increase the risk of cancer? Did you even read how much it actually increses the risk? People who eat little processed foods have 55 in 1000 change of getting cancer, and those who eat lots of procesed foods have 65 in 1000. It increases the risk from 0.5% to 0.6%. So your "class 1 carcinogen" scare is reduced to "if you eat vast amounts of processed foods every day you have 0.1% more change of getting cancer".
