The Oscars haven’t been this good since the 2020 Oscars. the Oscars are always at their best whenever good films are nominated and clearly the best ones win. Last year and obviously the year before weren’t very good but it seems like this time they came back to really improve on their past shortcomings. The host and comedy bits were cut down which allowed for every category to get some sort of recognition, the live performances were mostly solid, specific mediums like animation and VFX were treated with better respect and addressed respectfully, representation and diversity was presented through well deserved recognition with the winners instead of being forced down our throats through terribly written comedic monologues and on stage acts, and the academy seems to be more unbiased than before especially with it’s smaller categories which normally go to Disney properties. Now there were still some issues present, the VFX team was unnecessarily cut short in favor of Kimmel doing this super cringe bit with Malala. Disney obviously still seems to make themselves the center of everything through promoting their newest films that have nothing to do with the show and having actors related to their properties come on stage and present the awards. The academy constantly tries to advertise themselves and their businesses which steals time from the nominees instead of just placing their advertisements during the commercial breaks. And the show this time around felt a bit unorganized with the categories flipping between main categories, actor categories, and the effects categories.
EEAAO was clearly in another league among all the Best Picture nominees in 2023. When Harrison Ford appeared to hand this Award out, I already knew EEAOO will win it.

Congratulation 👏👏👏
Congrats to Everything Everywhere All At Once for the best picture.
perfect win for best picture winner (Directing, Screenplay, Editing, leading role and two supporting roles!)
top gun maverick was robed, that's just it I got nothing else to add because it's just simply that, but eeaao isn't a bad film by any means
51 y.o. Ke Huy Quan turned to 12 y.o. Shortie when he hugged Ford. It was so touching I cried. Thank you Oscar for arranging such memorable reunion. ❤
Wow seeing Indiana Jones and shorty hug on stage that made it all worth it.
Congratulations to their success 🙌 🤗🤩🔥✨️😘💯🔥🫶✨️🙌👏😉
Loved the moment when ' Indiana and Short Round ', hugged
I love how Steven Spielberg genuinely loved the Harrison Ford Ke Huy Quan moment. Just beautiful!
I think some people were more excited Ke Guy Quan and Harrison Ford embrace
“no person is more important than profits” 💀
EEAAO was the first movie I saw in theaters that eventually won Best Picture, and it was due to seeing Short Round was in it and playing David Bowie’s Time in their trailer
Indy and short Round reunited ❤❤❤❤❤

I think Ke Huy Kuan is one of the fee people who can go up and grab Harrison Ford like that. So incredibly happy for him
People love a movie , the moment it wins it becomes overrated 😀
The 5 Oscars I predicted EEEAAO would win did win (and it won two more). I wish I'd made a bet!
The nominees recap gives "we're running against time" a whole new meaning
My god this film created history
When was the last time a movie swept the oscars. Picture, director, screenplay, leading and supporting actors.
“One flew over the cuckoos’s nest” won all of those, but not for supporting actor/actress. “Slumdog Millionaire” (8 awards) and “Gravity” (7 awards, but not best picture) had the most wins during their Oscar year, but none for acting. “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” won 11 awards out of 11 nominations.
the best Oscar's ever...reunion between the veterans and the new actors
*Top Gun should have won!!! SMH!!* 🤦♀️
Ke Huy Quan and his Everything Everywhere All At Once won the best picture.
I love the Reunion between Ke Huy Quan and Harrison, as well as their Hug. It's the only reason I'm watching this video.
“Indy, Cover your heart! Cover your heart!” ❤️
I couldn't make the connection at first, then my friend reminds me Quy Huy and Harrison were in this 1984 Indiana Jones together, what an incredible ending to an incredible night !
Spielberg's current wife, Kate Capshaw (sitting next to him), was the leading lady in this Indiana Jones installment, they should've had her up there onstage too.
Storybook ending to Oscar night.
