Good Friday: There's Freedom in His Blood | Fr. Mathias Thelen

In this homily given on Good Friday (Friday March 29th 2024), Fr Mathias preaches on how the blood Jesus shed for us on the cross atones for our sins. As our Eternal High Priest, Jesus sacrifices himself once and for all and presents his blood to God in heaven on our behalf in order to forgive our sins and make atonement for them. Therefore, because of his blood that was shed for us, we can approach God with confidence. Having been saved by the sacrifice of Jesus, Father Mathias exhorts us to live in the freedom he won for us by shedding his blood and to strive to help unbelievers understand the power of Jesus' blood in their lives.
