  • Too much Data in a Presentation is a BIG turn off to any audience - even the most technically minded person doesn't want to look at a slide full of statistics as you chat away in the background.
    The next time you are adding data to your Powerpoint, think about what you can take away rather than what you can add. The data you show on the big screen needs to be easy to understand by everybody, needs to tell your story and needs to look great.
    You can always put all the deets in a handout which every data-geek in your audience can devour, scribble all over and pick apart!
    Strip it down - data looks better naked!
