I said in your previous episode that I enjoy the longer videos. And you brought it up in this video. Your longer videos show much more of what you're doing, how and why you come to various decisions and act upon them. Listening to you work your way through the game is just as fun as watching you work your way through the game. Your 15-20 minute videos of 2 years ago were like watching cut pieces of a 30 hour game condensed into 4 total hours. Yeah, these longer videos make you more 3 dimensional and for me at least, much more fun and interesting to watch.
29:30 I love how they replaced one part of the massive wall with brick just so Duty can blow a hole in it. That's so "2000's game design" (also here's another one of the 1.9% lol)
I think this is the best video you made to this day. Love your channel, love your content, love your editing style its all just perfect. Thank you Mr. Qloud
I have played through STALKER SoC a few times over the years but have never seen any of these bandit missions you are doing (so this is going to be an extra interesting playthrough for me). I typically forge a similar path which always includes killing bandits (such as helping duty guy free his friend from the bandits in dark valley). The first time I played the game I helped duty destroy the freedom base because I didn't really know what I was signing up for and was just in the mindset of accepting missions as they came (I didn't necessarily regret it). Latter playthroughs I think I warned freedom or stayed neutral. You definitely have some back-stabby stuff going on now that you are romantically involved with the bandits.
In vanilla (or at least the version of vanilla with the Zone Reclamation Project mod) you can run permanently with the right amount of endurance boosting artifacts, so you're right that you should be able to sprint forever if ya got them equipped. I always kept those sorts of artifacts equipped as soon as possible in vanilla. Not sure if Radiophobia changes that though, I've not experienced it.
41:35 Correct: that's supposed to occur the first time you enter Wild Territory. You were stuggling to understand the layout of the battle that was going on that first time (when the mercs and ecologists were fighting) because *that* sequence was supposed to play, giving you a layout of the scenario that was taking place. I guess becuase you took some unorthodox path to the battle grounds the first time (i.e. across the roofs), that event didn't trigger the first time, so now it's playing because you triggered the event by going the "proper" way.
in vanilla game at army warehouse you can choose you kill all freedom with duty or you betray duty, snitch on them to freedom and then with freedom kill all duty members at that house on hill, but i think this locks you out of bar. BTW stalker SOC have like 5 false endings then a true good ending and 1 true bad ending.
I did the exact same mission for Duty taking out Freedom base. I now have 2 branching saves to see where that goes. Funny thing is I didn't even question it was just like "well I'm doing this now" 😂
Yeah, this mod's quests are quite janky in a couple places: you're right about Sly and Dark Archeologist - mod assumes you won't survive the mine so it enables "didn't kill Archeologist" trigger if you manage to interact with his stash. Stash that you can buy from Skull is not the same as the one you receive from bandit for killing duty, but at the same time stash that spawns when you complete that bandit's quest is in a completely different place than described in text. I actually had to go though mod's code to find it....
@@squidwardo7074 Yeah, probably about half of the side quests are new. TBH I wouldn't recommend Radiophobia to someone who wants to experience Stalker story for the first time before S2. Radiophobia is nice for a second playthrough, but for the first one something more vanilla-like would be better.
Haven't watched the whole vid yet, but just wanted to say that if you go to Sid and tell him you're tired of walking all over the zone he will offer vehicles in which will be unlocked for the zone that you choose. For instance you can say you want a car in dark valley and one will spawn there for you. I haven't tested this myself yet and could be wrong how it works.
In the vanilla SOC, u were able to do one-on-one. They were parallel but one would destroy the other. at 01:02:40 that's not a decent stalker would do but I guess the zone "can turn a good man bad"
Think you already looted the stash, you'd hopped into the truck on your way from Army to the Bar and it'd had a decent gun. But wasn't an SVD for sure, vased on those quest marker things.
I might have borked my playthrough by doing a quest for freedom where you kill the Duty camp at North Garbage. Makes all of Rostok hostile for you of course. I spent all day just killing xD my rep is at 79,000 ranked at "expert" from all the killing, but I just have to run and gun anytime I want to go back and forth xD Might reload a save. Great times though!
In army warehouse you missed a set of armor a grenade launcher and few other things in the main house armory on the opposite side of where you’d find the mechanic in gamma
Hey man, loving the playthrough! Made me reinstall it and finally give it a proper go. Could you perhaps share how you removed the HD models? The models themselves don't bother me, but I've already killed 2 loners because I can't recognize them easily.
Yeah i remember the weapon u finde in the "poop collector" good old time. Anyways, if all those quest are vanilla, man the game was really good , way more then modern fps and radiophobia fix all the grafics and animation probles (it is a old game) that stalker original trilogy as. keep up the good work my friend, love your videos!
Hey mate I want to play this so bad but have no idea how to install do you think you could do a install tutorial for the latest version with update 1.18? Not sure if you make vids like that just thought I would ask anyway.
Love your videos. Im playing through this on Xbox. Are these mods available on console? Im also roughly around the same part of the story but a bit behind.
It's kind of sad to see the HD models go, I thought they were a nice change of pace from the normal models and I would say personally they do fit the feel of the game they all tend to be late 2000 gear to Soviet-afgan rigs. But I understand the need to change them it is a big change and it can be hard to differentiate the stalkers. especially giving up that first-shot advantage because your not sure if they are friendly.
maybe look at Dux's Innumerable Character Kit its slightly better vanilla looking models fits much better than the HD models and still has the stalker feeling
There is a freeman reference in vanilla SoC itself lmao that dead loner in will territory tunnel is literally named gordon and his pda log mentions black mesa
Laamee... I prefer the HD model than the Vanilla one it's giving more challenges and realistic feelings to see who is who to be identified in the combat. The same feeling you've got in modern war where two side accidentally using almost the same camouflage uniforms. 😊
Soon as Stalker 2 comes out sadly you will be less popular, because the game will have less mystery and more "triple A" antics. Shame because you're a great content creator.
Man you are the only youtuber i watch that makes a 1 hour video feel like a 10 minute one, keep up the great work.

totally agree
Yeah, it's 2 of us bro.
I may be the "at least one girl" 🤣🤣🤣
Love your vids and cant wait for Stalker 2 release!!!
That 2.5 kg box is a Sidorovich mission, after you finished Dark Valley.
Not gonna lie, that was a great idea for a transition from the freedom base. No reprocussions, no immersion broken.
29:30

I saw this... looked at the box and immediately thought "they are going to blow a hole in this wall lmao
35:05 nicest transition you have done so far
I think this is the best video you made to this day. Love your channel, love your content, love your editing style its all just perfect. Thank you Mr. Qloud
The Quadruple Agent Revolver Ocelot playthrough where you backstab every faction given the chance is hilarious.
bro before watching you play this i had no idea stalker was this good. cant wait for stalker 2
Watching you survive for like 8 seconds in a vortex might be one of the most surprising things I’ve seen in stalker

The original Stalker trilogy is so good but dang can it get overwhelming.

so are a lot of the tasks he's doing not part of the official game?

Loving the videos man just binged watch you playing the unsig, and zero to hero. Currently watching your efp series and this one

dude its perfect, the classic double cross
Literally doing a play along haha definitely helping. Keep the long episodes!
"I don't know if I should be doing this, it feels kinda bad to fight Freedom"
* notices all the loot *
"moral dilemna solved!" 😆
the gazmask you have has night vision on it iirc

Thanks for the great videos Qloud !😁

When the greed kicks in
Posted 40 seconds ago got me excited
Hey man, loving the playthrough! Made me reinstall it and finally give it a proper go. Could you perhaps share how you removed the HD models? The models themselves don't bother me, but I've already killed 2 loners because I can't recognize them easily.
Go to were you downloaded the mod originally, the link for vanilla models are right under it, just drag and drop the files :)
@@Qloud7 thanks man, much appreciated! Looking forward to the next video, cheers
Outpost documents are for Sid. I think you can give them to Sid after visit in lab in dark valey
Jesus i havent seen half this content, i need to replay radiophobia so bad
Feel bad for the archeologist...
Qloud: "The gyats on these boys" 🤔🤣
Radio phobia huh? I might try it it looks really neat
Yeah i remember the weapon u finde in the "poop collector" good old time.

Like when you install Stalker on your PC but you have the story quest line and the dialogue options of Skyrim and Dragon Age at once 😂
The thing that I find nutty is that Freedom took control of Rostok in Stalker 2.
Always a treat. Take my algorithmic comment brother 🤙
41:20 hell yeah simulator
Watching you take the bandits side, it was painfull to look at
Your character pure evil, double crosses everyone. lol
The wiki states that Sid wants the documents from the outpost but I don't quite know how it is in radiphobia 3
33:00 Hey, you ok? Ow!
Im so glad you removed the HD models here
Hey mate I want to play this so bad but have no idea how to install do you think you could do a install tutorial for the latest version with update 1.18? Not sure if you make vids like that just thought I would ask anyway.
Sid will give you mission to get those documents from military base, he should also take them.
On behalf of your viewers, you da man and thanks for the longer vids bro. I would assume I'm not alone, but I have been called worse.
Love your videos. Im playing through this on Xbox. Are these mods available on console? Im also roughly around the same part of the story but a bit behind.
39:22 check your notifs homie

The hd models were the reason I could not think about playing this myself. Is it easy to replace them, or how does it work? Thank you!
Very easy to change! It’s right below the download link for the mod it’s self, just drag and drop the files
maybe look at Dux's Innumerable Character Kit its slightly better vanilla looking models fits much better than the HD models and still has the stalker feeling
ok so i have just one question are we going to continue the series even if we aren’t done for stalker 2 in 10 days love the content
I think he could finish by then, might have to pick up the pace a touch mind
Can you upgrade the armor in this mod?
I personally hate the bandit's so i never considered doing bandit mission lol
Please go for some artifact hunting 😊😊
Sorry the safe in the boarded house was empty :( In my Case there was a SEVA in Vanilla
All good! I was looking for it though haha
Radiophobia changes some things so some Vanilla stuff is not there.
In vanilla you get the coordinates for that stash by searching a zombie corpse near the fire tunnel iirc.
I asked if i can go to his backroom and he didnt let me
Qloud 2024
Oh god 😂
Hmm, Is the SPAS-12 "Freeman" a Half Life reference?
It doesn't hold 6 or 12 shots like in those games but I have my suspicions.
There is a freeman reference in vanilla SoC itself lmao that dead loner in will territory tunnel is literally named gordon and his pda log mentions black mesa
what addons have you installed?
Feel so wrong what u did. But uf Skull not got kill and yku finiah the mission maybe u have coordinate. Aaaah why u cant control loot stuff😂
Laamee... I prefer the HD model than the Vanilla one it's giving more challenges and realistic feelings to see who is who to be identified in the combat.

I didnt follow either
