Sometimes really handy artifacts might be found 3. After receiving damage, you get bleeding. Bandages are specially made to stop it, it’s not just a regular “weak” medkit

Pitty they removed Russian (understandable of course). Language is more than an option or interface feature, it’s an integral part of the experience and feeling especially for those born in USSR as me. A lot of phrases from the first stalker became memes.

If you want complete immersion, put Ukrainian voice acting and English subtitles. Ukrainian dubbing is something, each character is charismatic in its own way, and different groups differ in the manner of communication, for example, bandits speak in Surzhik. The English version also partially conveys this, but in my opinion not fully. The English dubbing was done by a non-Ukrainian studio, so there will hardly be a Slavic accent, or there will be little.

This is making me miss the thrill of the few first volumes of Otherside Picnic... The latest ones felt more like a dealing with Occult and Horror stories/legends with all the gimmicks known... Especially the bolt throwing... Nothing beats the thrill of walking and living with the unknown...

I remember more of a stealth approach specially when travelling long distances and checking through every possible stash before leaving current area. Man, you definitely haven't played the classic STALKER. When it beeps, you need to take out the scanner and follow max.beep peak, when artifact appears, you can pick them and resell to trader or place into slot in inventory for some perks.

The stalker series has both human enemies and mutant enemies, mutants can look like humans but trust me, they aren’t human anymore.
