I haven’t tried a spruced up canned frosting recipe but I’ve seen people melt canned frosting and then use it as a drip around the top of the cake. Seems like a great way to use it!!
I add softened butter, marshmallow fluff, a dash of salt, and high quality vanilla extract. And don’t worry the marshmallow fluff doesn’t add more sweetness. You can also add a cup or two of powdered sugar if you needed to frost a bigger cake.

Yes you can try it with other flavors too! 😋😋(Although I haven’t tried chocolate, not sure how that would taste).

@@ODY0319 that might be too much butter. Pioneer woman has a good article called 10 substitutions for sour cream. It might help you find something. 👍
@Sugar High Score I have done the chocolate wasc, the chocolate flavor gets a little diluted so I always add a couple tbl of cocoa powder!
