unsettling. especially when you drop all junk from the playground in the abyss... there is corpses, weapons, blood, syringes and other things... Edit: Lots of explosions and fire, too. I play this map a lot, and I always just throw everything in the pit instead of deleting

But can’t. 2 weeks Later you are at the abyss. there used to be a base there, where did it go? Suddenly you and your friends are thrown down the abyss by a supernatural force, into the darkness. luckily you fall into, water? What is this place, where are you? It seems like a blue, forest? There is wreckage everywhere, seems to be the base that used to be up there. You find your friends, dead on the floor with blood everywhere. You start crying, everything you've experienced, seeing all your friends die one by one. You want to escape this hellish nightmare, but you can't. It's just You now, doomed to wander the abyss for eternity. Then you hear something roar in the distance, *they are here. You are not supposed to be here, get out while you still can, before its too late* 5 likes required to continue the story
i actually had a mod that sped up time by 8x and i was playing abyss while I used it so it just sounded like a bunch of really high pitched choir groups occasionally singing
Pov: When the breach event happened, you decided to hide. The personnels running around the facility, they didn't know what to do. your in the storage area at the most isolated underground zone of the facility and none of sunlight can be seen, your just sitting and froze. And you will not know what will happen down here. You have to deal with anomalies and species.

Yeah the ambience is peaceful but not the unexpectedly weird scary sounds that happens every now and then

Idk, but you can hear something like cogs ticking so some guy theorized it was the factory where all the items you can mess with are made.
