Aw yeah, that’s one of my favorite places to go. Hiking there is like a nature adventure, it’s completely worth it once you reach the springs. It used to be a hotel in the early 20th century, awesome place. One of the best hot tubs in the world.
I'm a local and this is by far my absolute favorite place.. I've been going here since I can remember.. fyi clothing is optional.. at night is a must lol pack in pack out please... keep this place amazing.
You must have visited shortly after I did the first time, the yellow “JK rock” near the “be here, Be present” is my contribution from visiting. Have been back each time I visit AZ from MPLS
Hi Abbey, the hike here from the parking area is less than a mile down the river. The road getting to the parking area is very bumpy so make sure to allow yourself about 1.5 hours for the drive each way. Have fun at the hot springs, I love it down there!
@@Itzabbeyo I'm about 1.5 hours away. Now that you mention power line work, I recall them saying they'd be updating the lines in the area this spring. I don't imagine it will be closed for too long. I was actually thinking of going there in a week or two...maybe I'll see you there!
@@Itzabbeyo just a heads up, it gets really hot down there in June so be sure to plan your soak for the evening as it will be much more comfortable. :)
Thought I was watching a Wonderhussy Adventure there for a second. She's nuts over hot springs .. but I've never seen this one on her channel. I really like the vibe of this one and thanks for the draining the pool lesson ... that's good to know. take care, and enjoy the soak. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hey Vaughn, yeah I ruptured my L5 disc a few years ago and it's given me problems ever since. Hot Springs, especially ones with lithium in them do wonders for my back issues. Hope your week starts off on a good note! ~ Brian
How long is the drive to the springs? And how long is the hike from parking to springs? Will be visiting next weekend and want to plan on how long it will take there and back! Thanks :)
Hi William, both songs are from a band called Thompson Town Flowers - the first track is Spaghetti on the Island and the second track is Affirmation. I really like their sound.
@@dennisalanvids just a heads up, the FS closes the road going out there in bad weather because one could easily slip off the road with how sketchy the conditions get. Be sure to plan your trip out there in decent weather. Enjoy your travels!
Hi Brandon, yeah the road is a bit rocky in some areas but totally doable in a normal passenger vehicle with normal clearance. It's has a ton of really bad washboard sections but if you go slow then it's fine. The last 100 yards that drops off into the campground is kind of steep but if you have good driving skills on that short section then you'll be okay. I hope you get a chance to visit this place, it's awesome! Have a great evening ~ Brian

If you're a local then you need to do better in taking care of your backyard. Toilet paper and trash are everywhere, I did you all a solid and cleaned it up. I recommend it! Very cool place with a relaxed vibe. There is a rustic campground with a pit toilet 1 mile upstream from the hot springs.
Take your trash with you too
Someday I will have to go to a hot spring. I have a lot of back issues as well as arthritis in both hips. Take care. Vaughn
