I am basically the stock market queen. Honestly I earned 10 million bells in 1 day. How I did it is my friend would time travel each day until turnip prices were high. Then I would turn my day to Sunday. We would come to my place to buy turnips, place them in our lockers, and then travel to her town to sell them. And we would repeat :)
I talked to my villager, (Robin) about bell boom, and he said that he likes getting more bells, but all the prices are more expensive. Kind of defeating the whole purpose of, "bell" boom.
It is honestly so much more rewarding to have the beautiful town ordinance enacted. Flowers never die, you have barely any weeds, and it is much easier to gain the perfect town status. Just some advice from someone who has been playing for 5+ years now.

I remember an old animal crossing account I had when I was like 7 and I played it for like almost a year I think.. And I went to the island to make friends and I asked people for a golden shovel because I was trying to plant money trees, and I was really rich at the moment because I went to the island and caught the elephant bettle, stag bettle, etc. and I had like 3 million bells. So I found someone to give me a golden shovel and she came over to my village and asked me for 1.5 million bells for it. So I accepted and gave her the bells and she asked me if I could save because her "internet was bad" and I said sure because I was a stupid child and then she left and didn't give me the shovel.. She ignored me after too. Smh

Those who still play ACNL, here’s a tip that involves changing the time. If you don’t know, everyday, there will be a fake rock planted somewhere in your town and another random rock which will be filled with bells. The fake rock will give you a random crystal, which will sell for heaps of bells. The money rock will drop small amounts of bells then turning into bags of bells if you maintain your hitting streak. I forgot to mention, you need a shovel to break the fake rock and hit the bell rock. Repeat this process by changing the date on your 3DS system by 1 day ahead. Hope this helps.
The "shark fishing by sound" method works so well. The reason is because it takes a few milliseconds for you to register images from your eyes; meaning you technically always live life a few milliseconds LATE. That's part of why we have such slow reflexes. We react to sound faster, as you can figure out from jumpscares. Also, fish can only bite up to five times. So if you get to four and it hasn't happened yet, get ready.
I know an easier method (with a risk of losing villagers and getting LOTS of weeds)1: collect as much bells as you can, around 50,000 bells2: Save and quit and go to settings. 3: go to date and time and change the date to 1-1-12 (Jan 1st, 2012) 4: go back to AC and make sure the AC date and the date you just set for your DS matches 5: go onto your town and put all bells in the machine in the post office (I forgot what it was called) 6: save and quit and go back to the settings app on your DS. Change the year to 20507: go back to your town. If you did it right you just got 99,999 bells added to the bells you had in the post office 8: repeat as many times as you want
Here’s a new way: All you have to have is whisp, and some amibos or even just one. Have him come into your world, and make him have an amibo come to your town. He gives 5 meow coupons each time and 1 meow coupon is 3k! You can time travel too if you want.

XxBlueSunshinexX It’s random, but they only appear on the trees of your original native fruit, you can’t grow perfect fruits of any other fruit in your town.

Agreed! Turn up the volume, hold the DS/3DS up to your ear and close your eyes. This has been my fishing strategy for years in Wild World and New Leaf.
I personally found that if I want to farm for bells during the day before the beetles come out on the island, that I would just change my clock to 7pm. As long as you *don't change the day* and just the time, there are no consequences (unknown possible consequences regarding events like fishing/bug tournaments) doing this and you can rewind time as many times as you want. Once I just set my time to 7pm or 11pm and rewound time all day long and made millions of bells in a few hours of doing this.
Ah. I understand now. The Freepguide said anytime after 5 PM, (because that’s when the bugs start spawning) but I did find 7 PM or later to be better. This is going to be super useful! I am gonna get both the Dream Suite AND pay off my loans *AND* complete Public Works projects much quicker! (That second bridge took FOREVER) Thanks!

the island is literally a GODSEND! i cut down all the fruit trees there too, and i set my time to be after 6 pm so rarer bugs will spawn :) then i spend an hour on the island fishing for sharks and catching stags. i was easily able to get up to a million bells! the more bells you have, the easier you can make an aesthetic town.
After the Welcome Amiibo update, I've found it useful to do the following: 1: Make a new file 2: Go and do the first two initiatives (if you want, you can do more) 3: Pay off the down payment, then skip or wait to the next day 4: Go to Nook's Homes and as soon as Tom Nook has confirmed the next payment, go to the post office (doing step four will unlock 'coupon exchange) 5: Use the Bellpoint (or ABD) 6: Exchange all of the coupons you have on you 7: Then, use the withdrawal feature and withdrawal all the bells from the ABD/Bellpoint 8: Drop the bells infront of the house of your main file 9: Save and quit 10: Log in as the main file and pick up the bells.

Tell Isabelle you're gonna delete your town, then say you will continue playing instantly and she will then call tom nook, then he will offer to buy your town, and then is when he says the price of your town, then you continue the process to the end and when he says if you are sure you want to do it say no, and it will be canceled. Again, only do this if your tree is big enough for you to sit on it, if not Isabelle will just delete your town

Cut the Goliath beetle and Ocean Sunfish and you’ll earn ~100,000 extra in ROUGHLY the same time. And while the bell boom ordinance is good you can make 3-4 more trips with the night owl ordinance
Not sure if you mentioned but if it isnt late in the evening you can go online and search for a server that is evening. It isnt promised to cost only one thousand but if you have a bit of time and money you can easily do it and make profit.
I do island fruit selling by growing island fruits and pears (pears are not native at my town, peaches are) I also sell shells. Shells are honestly the FIRST market to invest yourself in. Note to all without island.
Another thing you could do is what I did. I went to the ATM (I think the only one is at the post office) and I traded my CAT coupons for tons of money. Normally, they go for $4000 each, so save up your CAT coupons to get a big profit fast. That's how I got a giant house in the first few months.

So i learned one thing.... only your native fruit can be perfect.... thats a bummer tbh i had a town that had perfect peaches and i carried some over to my new town but they didn't turn perfect when i planted them sadly... yet i planted a perfect cherry and it grew to a perfect cherry tree.. i had no idea why so thanks for the info!
I got fruits by going to the island and playing one of the games and I collected as many fruits as I can- durian, orange, cherry, Apple, peach and more~ I got to keep it and bring it back to my town.
You also can just go to settings and make the year 2050 then get on get a lot of interest then go back and forward as much as you want you get 99,999 bells as a max interest each time.

there are some valuable bugs that land on the normal trees as well, like giant/rainbow stags and scarab beetles
But the bugs on the island are much more consistent.

Uhhh. I cut down the normal trees, and scared off the wharf roaches, but it's not working. Does raining have an affect?

Tell Isabelle you're gonna delete your town, then say you will continue playing instantly and she will then call tom nook, then he will offer to buy your town, and then is when he says the price of your town, then you continue the process to the end and when he says if you are sure you want to do it say no, and it will be canceled. Again, only do this if your tree is big enough for you to sit on it, if not Isabelle will just delete your town

I do island fruit selling by growing island fruits and pears (pears are not native at my town, peaches are) I also sell shells. Shells are honestly the FIRST market to invest yourself in. Note to all without island.

If you are a beginner bug catcher I recommend taking your shoes and socks off before going to the island it might sound stupid but it works for me.

Another thing you could do is what I did. I went to the ATM (I think the only one is at the post office) and I traded my CAT coupons for tons of money. Normally, they go for $4000 each, so save up your CAT coupons to get a big profit fast. That's how I got a giant house in the first few months.
It's a very good method. The CAT coupons weren't even a thing way back when I created this guide xD

So i learned one thing.... only your native fruit can be perfect.... thats a bummer tbh i had a town that had perfect peaches and i carried some over to my new town but they didn't turn perfect when i planted them sadly... yet i planted a perfect cherry and it grew to a perfect cherry tree.. i had no idea why so thanks for the info!

I got fruits by going to the island and playing one of the games and I collected as many fruits as I can- durian, orange, cherry, Apple, peach and more~ I got to keep it and bring it back to my town.
Because of this i can get bells more easily. Thanks!
You also can just go to settings and make the year 2050 then get on get a lot of interest then go back and forward as much as you want you get 99,999 bells as a max interest each time.
