I think I’m going to make the top front part of the lid portable so I can clean the curettes monthly’s - Terrence a hinged front top would help on version two 🤔🤣
Theres no harm in using a wet QTip, as long as you use RO/DI water... when you dip the Q Tip in RO/DI water, this process is a whole lot easier. You can use a dry QTip to dry it out after, and let it air dry a couple minutes too if it makes you feel better... you'll have to prime the sample line again when reconnecting anyways and that will flush the cuvette out too..
Not sure what that has to do with this video? My alkalinity was not off. It was reading erratic intervals. This will not help “accuracy”. Make sure you calibrate and I would never trust the Hanna over the trident.
Thanks derick for all the videos
Absolutely!
Great video. How often do you normally have to clean the cuvette? Im thinking about making the leap
I haven’t cleaned it since I made this video. Never needed to except that one time it was having issues.
Thanks for sharing. Will be doing this later today
Have fun!
Great video!
Thank you!
An easy process, thanks for the tutorial Derrick. 😁
You're welcome!

Perhaps, but again this should only be done IF support tells you to. It is not a preventative maintenance tutorial.
This is great. I thought Neptune was going to offer maintenance service.
They do. I am in trouble for making this video.
Why will you be in trouble
@@ReefAndReptileAutomation did they really get mad at you for posting this?
@@jmdelira87 yes

Agreed.
Neptune should make a cleaning access door for this. Trident take 2 🎬
Perhaps but it is not something that is part of the maintenance of the unit and only to be done if there are problems
Would the q tips scratch the plastic if using it dry?
No
No it just leave a bunch of cotton lint in the cuvette
Don’t the tubes ever have to be replaced?
Not that I know yet....It might be part of the maintence.
Did this work for anyone ? My alk shoes 10 and hanna 6.4 ..way off
